Anchor Toffee is a growing Ocean State business with a large production venue and showroom inside the Farm Fresh RI Food Hub, as well as a store in the Sims Avenue market in Providence. Everything is hand-made, with dozens of prepackaged items in beautiful containers and gift boxes. Their core flavor is the butter toffee, which is crunchy and sweet with a nice hard texture but gooey inside. Other delicious offerings include coconut almond, pumpkin spice, Christmas bark, and pretzel bark. They also offer truffles, confections, and gift baskets in a variety of sizes. The toffee is rich, not excessively or artificially sweet, and is gluten free. The staff provides wonderful, friendly, professional, and very helpful service, including assistance with dietary restrictions and larger orders. Prices aren't cheap, but the selection and quality are amazing. With its very nice fun interior, it is a perfect place to get a nice present for someone with a sweet tooth or to add a local treat to Christmas gift packages.
Pleasant shop, both Newport and Providence, with delicious crafted sweets. Probably the best toffee we ever had. We ordered online and had it shipped to family around the country, they were thrilled. Definitely going to do it again next Christmas!

I a word delicious. I was there at christmas and their selection and quality were amazing. Thr toffee great. The christmas bark perfect. The pretzel bark perfect. I will be back!

Very nice fun interior, friendly and professional staff, large selection of items. I had the coconut almond toffee and I can highly recommend it.
