“I purchased an admittedly high mileage 04 Tacoma from them and while it was in excellent condition it ended up running into some mechanical problems the day I took it home and the check engine light came on. When I took it back they told me that they would take care of everything at no cost to me. Though it took time to find the problems and their mechanic spent a week chasing a vacuum leak I eventually received the truck in full working condition with a valid inspection sticker. Al and the crew went above and beyond to earn my trust and respect and even apparently lost money on the sale just for the sake of their integrity. While I hope they find a way to better test and maintain their vehicles, they absolutely redeemed themselves in the after sale.”

“I came across this repair shop by chance, when I needed new rotors installed and when I thought something was off with a brake pad replacement job I had done on my car elsewhere. Mechanical noises that weren’t there before, shifting of something that shouldn’t be shifting when braking.
I met Roberto from Tiki’s on a Saturday a few weeks back when I brought the car in. He looked at it right away, and identified numerous other issues, showing them to me along the way. I ended up needing to replace the brand new front brake pads as the previous shop had shaved them down to “fit”. They literally had 25% stopping material space left, only dead center, sides had been shaved down next to nothing. The rear’s were fine, but they were identified as entry level (cheap) which I had purchased, not the previous shop. So I replaced all 4. Price was shown to me up front for a solid set Roberto recommended. My cats stopping power went from 25% (pedal near the floor) to stop on a dime.
Today was an exhaust issue, and instead of telling me I need new this, and new that, they dropped my exhaust and welded a small hole on the top of the pipe and my car went from sounding like some rumbling heap, to silent, as it’s supposed to be. Didn’t need new catalytic converters as someone else had said. Nothing wrong with those, just a hole in a pipe that did need effort to access as it was on the top. HONESTY goes all the way with me.
Their work is SOLID, their transparency with what the problem is and parts being used and what everything will cost is CLEAR AS DAY, their friendliness TOP NOTCH, and when you leave the shop you will notice the difference RIGHT AWAY.
If you are looking for extremely FAIR pricing, GREAT work from KNOWLEDGEABLE human beings, and a place you will want to bring your car to again and again, when you have problems, LOOK NO FURTHER.
