Salk's Ace hardware on West Shore Rd is the best neighborhood hardware store I've been to. It's so convenient and they have almost everything I need. The staff are all so helpful & patient! I sometimes give awful explanations of what I need & they always help me figure it out lol.

I grew up across the street from Salks during the late 80s and into the 90s-2000s. If Benny's didn't have it, Salks ALWAYS did. I still count on this locally owned and operated hardware store for many of my needs around the house.

Almost A-Z for things you may need; marine; hardware; paint and supplies; vast selection of screws nuts and bolts; gardening tools ; plumbing and Craftsman hand tools. I'm sure I left something out! Helpful staff to guide you through the isles.

The staff here is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Im not the most handy guy but I've gone here a few times and the staff has been great help. Plus I feel like im supporting local business. Honestly, this is a great place to find what you need.

Pay attention when you are paying at the register. They charge more that what they price tag says. The other product jump from 7.99 to 15.99 and this pliers from 14.99 to 15.99. I caught that and bottom line is you have to do the line and wait for the manager to come to they give your money back. I won’t die for a dollar, but is my dollar and when someone takes my dollar for no reason I call that steal.

They have the random little things you need right away for your house or boat. They also fill propane bottles and RVs.

Ace is perfect for older people..don't have to walk miles to find what u need or locate an associate..so appreciate an associate at the door to greet u and answer your questions.
