They do not answer, had to call the 800 # and ADT CUSTOMER SERVICE was awful as well. I ripped the system off of my wall and threw it where it belong, in the trash. What an awful company when you need help. the Chime worked for 5 yrs straight but i hope you don't have an issue. ADT do better and review my phone call please and learn from your mistakes.

Service is terrible. We were not provided with a copy of the contract that we supposedly signed. I was sure the paper page I signed was to confirm that the representative visited us, that is to confirm his work. Tried to talk to someone on their office in our state and received the address. Went there and found that it was closed 3 years ago, but ADT didn't bother to delete it. Equipment , such as doorbell and back yard camera malfunctioned twice already in 10 month. Tha change is more expensive than that of the other companies. Wouldn't advise anyone to sign up for ADT

I have been a customer for over 20 years and am paying close to $90 a month for their service. The only way they will lower my bill is by agreeing to a 3 year contract. Honestly there are other options out there that are much less money and do not require a contract. I am canceling as soon as I get my new system set up.

Not great, ADT does little to provide a quality product and a sense of security. Product and sales are both subpar. The company seems to push Google products, and the sales rep I met with was either poorly trained, or intentionally misleading. The sales rep told me I could have cameras installed by an ADT technician as well as a home alarm system, and would not need an electrician to handle wiring. When the tech arrived, I learned that the camera system offered was the Google home camera product and that it could be plugged into an outlet only, wiring would require an electrician. I then learned that the home alarm tablet would also need to be plugged into an outlet rather than wired to the house. When testing the system, the "alarm" is simply a loud tone from the tablet, there is no exterior alarm. The Away and Stay functions of the alarm are identical, expect for disabling motion sensors if set to Stay.

If I could rate a zero I would. I will echo some of the other comments and say if you are looking for a security system do NOT go with ADT. The sales people promise what cannot be delivered. This is NOT the ADT we have heard about years ago. We have had the system for 6 months and have had 5 service visits. Each time the tech's come out, they are here for a very long time and they come up with some random reason why the same issue keeps happening. It's absolutely unacceptable for the thousands we have spent, to have a system that is never working fully and properly. AND they expect you to be the technician to remedy the issue. If the cameras aren't working they suggest you get a ladder and climb up to take the camera down to trouble shoot. They act as if they are doing you a favor by waiving service fees to send a tech. Even the nicest customer service person who feels awful for our experience, can only do so much. Getting a call back or a service appointment can be weeks out. WEEKS!! For a down system. It just isn't acceptable and apologies are no longer helpful.

I have been a customer for over 11 years.Most terrible customer service ever. So far I have been on the phone with them fo 45 mins, talked to 3 different people. Each asking me the same questions and passed me off to the next person who put me on hold again.This should be called Customer Dis-service. If I could give negative stars I would. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

Thinking of getting an alarm system? Don't even consider ADT!! The worst, most appalling lack of customer service ever. I have spent endless hours in a wild loop of people who could not help me. I was hung up on and worst of all- lied to. One rep who did not want me to cancel promised me a new alarm panel. Tech got to my house this morning and said there was no new panel but his service call was free. The worst part is I cannot get through to them now to cancel even though my alarm is disconnected. Unbelievable!

Although the worker shortage makes immediate response difficult, they do all they can to get someone on site as quickly as possible. And the service technician is knowledgeable, polite, and makes sure everything is fixed before leaving.

This is a review of the sales representative Marc LaChance who sold me my current alarm system. He offered a fixed rate of $49 upon signing the contract and year after year my rate increased. I contacted him several times through phone and tex message but he did not resolve my rate increases. ADT loyalty did resolve the rate issue and it will be fixed but I did have to agree to a new 1 year contract. I am very disappointed in Marc’s customer service. I would recommend ADT for home security but beware Marc LaChance.

The biggest problem with ADT is the fact that their sales people will lie and promise you things that cannot be delivered. Our sales person failed to mention that a strong wifi connection needs to be present at all camera locations. And ADT's crappy extender did not solve the problem. Our sales person also said he would be on site at the day of installation. This was not true. The tech who installed the system installed the panel at one end of the house and it was too far away from the front door. He later had to come back to move the panel and we were charged for this service call. My advice : forget ADT. Don't use wireless cameras. Pay extra and have hard wired cameras.

ADT updated our security system. They arrived promptly at the appointment time. The Technician was very efficient, knowledgeable, & very professional. He installed all the equipment & instructed us on how to use the system. He answered all our questions & concerns!! We are very satisfied!! We will highly recommend ADT services to our family & friends.

Whole process of getting alarm system that was tailored to my house was smooth. Technician that came out was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Camera quality very clear. Highly recommend!
