This Citizens’s has refused me my money when my account wis always over $1000. After all withdrawals.. twice at ATMs. Three times at stores. Last Thursday, they refused to ACCEPT my deposit of a savings check at Stop and. Shop ATM. I have spent hours calling the number at back of green “credit card” .I believe MASTERCARD???) ( which should be illegal as I am contanly being offered cash back ??????????? Finally found a manager who had no idea of the “FROZEN card … picked up the phone to call the number on the back… At which time, I took my check and after being referred , in Chinese , to 5 different departments …I filed a formal complaint. Am considering a Senior citizen lawyer.

Poor Customer Service and lack of communication.
I called and spoke to Paul (branch mgr) on Friday asking to have my IRA CD moved from one to another at a better rate. He told me to come in on Saturday which I did. I met with Nancy and after 45 minutes was told want I wanted to do could not be done because the IRA department is closed on Saturday.....
Huge mistake number 1,,,
I made an appointment on Tuesday with Nancy ( tenure 10 years) hoping to spend less time since I have already told her my situation. I came into work half an hour early and used my lunch. It took me close to 1.5 hours to get this simple transaction done.
I ended out having to work an additional half hour to make up my time. She was on the phone with their IRA dept. I told her multiple times that this was a transfer of assets as she insisted that this was a premature distribution. I work for a mutual fund company and process transfer and distributions of IRAs and all retirement vehicles daily.
Huge mistake number 2 Did not take me or my knowledge seriously.
I had asked the manager on day 1 if they could do the paperwork and I come in to have it signed and I was told no. My lunch break and time is not as important as their time I gather
Huge mistake number 3 ..Assuming that we are a partnership and that my time is as important as theirs..
They have been using my money from this account since 1995
and this is the service I receive on the first time I ever ask for a change.
I will be moving my funds when they come to maturity date.

Citizens Bank is absolutely awful. Several security issues while banking here. The bank representatives do nothing to help their customers. This particular branch lacks customer service in every aspect. I do not recommend Citizens Bank. Not secure at all, do not trust this bank.

Absolutely the worse bank in existence. They wouldn't even cash a $20 check drawn on their bank without charging a $7 fee. I wouldn't recommend this bank to my worse enemy. It's Absolutely atrocious and their customer service Absolutely sucks the teller had complete attitude. And this wasn't even my transaction I witnessed this I withdrew all my money and I'm going to Bank Newport. I wish there was a zero star rating. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUISINESS!!!!!!

Walked in to cash a check teller tells me she doesn’t have enough to cash my check . She says to go to another branch or I should just go to my bank . WOW great customer service … horrible teller .

Went in this morning with a debit card issue. Spoke to the teller (didn't get her name).I was directed to card services. Scottie A assisted me with my debit card issue. I needed a new card ,Scottie was amazing and had me on my way in less then 10 minutes. Thanks so much Scottie

The customer service at this location is horrible. Drive a few miles down the road to Coventry. Much better attitudes and actually know what they are doing.

Tried to call for help unfreezing my debit card.explained I called the tech number and it won't let me put my card number in.then he says you got to call tech It but doesn't it won't work no help what so ever I been trying to fix this for 2 days so I came buy Christmas presents but looks like it ain't gonna happen.thanks for nothing

I've been in multiple times to change my name and each time I sit waiting while every man that works there stands around chatting. I've been in while there are multiple people waiting for over an hour and they ignore all the people. I've also been back when I'm they only person waiting for over 20 minutes and they just ignore me.

A customer for over 20 years and I would find that they have gone corporate don't care about customers so much eliminating drive-thrus and and The Human Experience all for profit
