Dr Forman and his associate are great, my moms worked across from them for years now and they’ve always been very nice and helpful and fun whenever i get new glasses or eye exams, they are my absolute favorite!

I've had such a positive experience with JCPenny Optical. They recently ran a 2 for $99 pair of glasses. I found a pair I loved and bought 2. Because my eye sight is greater than -5.00 I had to pay an extra $20 per pair. Amber helped me and answered all of my questions. I received 1 pair within 2 weeks. The 2nd pair came in with a scratch, so she sent it back to be fixed no issue. I told her I was surprised how many bad reviews were on here. She mentioned there had been some turnover and things have improved. There currently is not an eye doctor here for eye exams. I would recommend coming here to get your glass, especially for the price.

Dr. Forman is very nice and his prices are lower than anyone in the surrounding areas. As far as insurance, since I don't have optical coverage, I can't say one way, or the other. When I need to reorder lenses, he's very helpful, and doesn't put me through the third degree. I've had this happen to me with several other eye doctors in the area. They give me the runaround after paying for an eye exam, and ultimately I don't get what I came in for. Dr. Forman doesn't waste my time and money, and I get exactly what I need, when I need it, no problems.

Went to see Dr Forman as a new patient, my wife and I both had an eye exam and he was charging us $100 / each for 6 months contacts prescription. Called my insurance company and they said everything should have been covered without any out of pocket expense. The only thing I would have to pay for is $10 co pay. Luckily, I didn't purchase contacts today or else I would have been out $200 when it was not necessary. Even tried calling him and explaining to him what my insurance had said and he denied it saying otherwise. Would never go back to this establishment. Dishonest and untrustworthy.

Dr Forman charged 100.00 when the ins. company covers the entire bill!!! He claimed that he didn't see an insurance card, when on the paperwork that was filled out, it had both, the insurance company's name and the membership number. If he needed to see the card, he should have asked for it from her. This happened to my 15 year grand-daugher while I was in the optical center purchasing a pair of glasses for myself. She paid the 100.00 not understanding his procedure's. I had to go back to him insisting for the cash back. He was reluctant, until I was loud and persistent, then he pulled the cash out of his front pocket!!! And gave it back. He's going to submit her visit to the insurance company, AND take her cash! That's totally double dipping!! I found him very rude and unprofessional. Do not trust him. On the other hand, the associates that sell the glasses, are very professional, friendly and helpful.

My husband has gotten one pair of glasses from JC Penney, One of his lenses has fallen out now...are you counting...seven times. He has gone back and back again. Today, the eighth time, the other lens fell out. OMG. What a horror story. Go some where else. No wonder the chain is failing.

Had an eye exam here the other day. The equipment seemed dated, as did the optometrist. He spent a lot of time complaining! Worse, he rushed through the exam without much care at all. Then he charged me a $25 co-pay, which I found peculiar because he never looked up my insurance or called anyone. SO, I called my insurance company the next day and it turns out I do not have a co-pay. The optometrist did begrudgingly give me my $25 back, but I had to return to the store and call my insurance company in front of him. All in all, I'm really sorry I went there and I am nervous my prescription will not be correct when I purchase glasses. By the way, JC Penny has a pretty lackluster selection of glasses.

Giving this place even 1 star is a reach. Bought a Groupon for 55$ with a 290$ value, because I saw a pair of Ray-Bans on JCPenney Optical's website that I really loved and wanted in a prescription (the original frame was $120). I got to the store and the manager gave me a VERY hard time saying he could only sell me what's in the store, and no they don't sell what's advertised on their website, and that whoever runs their website doesn't update it. I called customer service and complained, saying that my Groupon wasn't returnable and I would be getting the pair of glasses I wanted, which they agreed and said they would send one of the last pairs of their discontinued Ray-Bans to the Warwick Store. They never did, and I only got more attitude and unprofessionalism from the Warwick store and the corporate office, saying it was my fault for never leaving my prescription or Groupon with the store, even though I was never asked to do either. This ordeal has gone on for 2 months now, and nobody from JCP has even attempted to work anything out with me. See ya! Awful experience. Would never recommend any JCP Optical to anybody, ever.
