Placed an order online and somehow this company changed my street address. It was delivered to the wrong address and I couldn't retrieve it. They REFUSED to refund me and flat out told me it wasn't their problem and to order a new item. It was the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. Shame on this company.

I requested a print catalog; instead, Ross-Simons started bombarding me with emails (daily). I never joined an email list! I contacted customer service at Ross-Simons, and STILL! They email every day. I've unsubscribed and I have contacted customer service several times. I have not had the courtesy of a reply. STOP EMAILING ME! I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY FROM YOU DUE TO YOUR COMPANY'S LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, even if I do get a catalog!

This review is based on ordering from their website. Nice job Ross-Simons, you have successfully irritated yet another customer that will be spending elsewhere. Recently, this retailer has apparently eliminated the option of saving items from your cart for later. There isn't any notice on how long they will keep them, but they are deleted within at least a couple of hours if not immediately when you leave the site. If you take the time to select gifts (expensive ones) to make a decision on in the near future, it is extremely irritating to have them deleted. I wonder how many customers go to any site and purchase just the one thing.... It is also shockingly unintelligent to limit a customer from purchasing more than just that specific item in the moment without the opportunity to review and add to the purchase at a later time! They have many options if they have changed policy, but to simply ignore and delete is despicable. Remove the option to "save for later" if it is no longer a service/benefit you provide. Quality control is also degrading. When you purchase a pair of earrings, you expect them to be alike. Frequently, the earrings are so different, damaged or mismatched that you cannot wear them. If you order a replacement, they are as bad as the first pair. And just who would pay for a pair of 14kt gold hoop earrings that have a hole in the bottom of the hoop where there should not be one? Do you even know what you are sending to people? Customer service is a joke for this business. Run, don't walk away from this business.

Sam and many other staff members here were so helpful in finding the perfect wedding band for my engagement ring. They applied no pressure, I got a great deal and they resized it in no time. Thank you!

This is not the Ross and Simmons I use to shop at I order about a year ago around July 2022 for my upcoming birthday in Aug after 2 months my bracelet broke then the long earrings broke, and the diamond studs id garbage quality they mess up with my bill and try to charge me twice, then i had to deal with supervisor to correct it I all into the VIP and I had to use the last $50 coupons left so my last order 2 weeks ago just to use the coupon again they mess up with my bill miss dona in customer service corrected it but i don't want to be needing to check every time of the charges with 7 eyes but I will not touch Rose and Simmons with a 10 ft pole, low-quality products, and cheaply made and wrong charges,'Not recommended !

I highly recommend the jewelry repair at Ross-Simons in Warwick, RI. I have had my rings worked on over the years at other jewelers, but no one has come close to the quality of work and attention to detail the jewelers have at Ross-Simons. My antique wedding rings were worn & thin. They rebuilt the prongs, replaced the shank, reset the stone (it’s level & shines!) and resized both rings. They are beautiful. I never expected such exquisite work. Thank you!

RS does not stand by their promotions. They hook you in with a promotion but then when you go to purchase there is no promotion and no promotion codes are offered as promised. This is not a trustworthy store. I just spend over 45 min in the RS customer service chat trying to get the first time customer promo code. I received no help. It is very desapointing. I was going to spent over $300 to test the RS service, but since I did not received the promised code even after trying your customer chat, you lost a customer. I do not recomend buying from the RS site is not trustworthy.

I am saddened that the quality of the jewelry at Ross Simons has diminished. They used to be a great go to jeweler for gifts etc. Last year I bought a scareb bracelet and it never fit right and the links are hollow....they bend. Its very cheap for what I paid. I also bought a pair of gold hug earrings and the clasp broke within 6 months. I'm very disappointed in the service and the quality. They used to be great and now they are below average. The jewelry write ups and pictures are very alluring but the quality is not there. Buyer beware.

I had a bracelet from them that I only had 2 months and broke. They gave me a partial refund. I purchased a new one giving them a second chance. That one broke within 7 months. I contacted them they said send it back and they could either repair or give me a refund. I shipped it back and they sent me a new bracelet. Upon opening it I could bend the gold with my finger nail. I contacted them for a refund. They said they would give me store credit and that's the best they could do. I called they hung up on me the first time. Second time I got through the lady seemed annoyed with me. I finally got to speak to a "manager" and he basically said sorry a store credit was the best he could do. So now I've spent $500 don't have a bracelet and I don't want anything else from them due to quality. I thought I was buying a piece that could be passed down to my daughter but the supervisor said their stuff is only made to last about 6 months. Seems unacceptable to me. I would not recommend buying anything from them.

The sales woman was very friendly! I had bought a silver bangle from Ross Simon on line. It was beautiful but it was not able to smoothly go over my hand. I asked to have it returned to the warehouse. She took care of everything and told me I would have my money in 6 to ten business days. After that transaction I bought myself another Cape Cod silver bangle. I love it even more than the one I sent back!

I was shocked by my terrible experience at Ross Simons in Warwick the other day. This place has become a joke and it is truly sad. They used to have a wonderful reputation and were always so helpful whenever any of the pieces purchased from them needed servicing, including watches. Many years ago, I purchased a beautiful gold Byzantine necklace to compliment an off-the-shoulder silk cocktail dress I was planning to wear for a black tie event. The dress and necklace looked stunning together but over the course of the evening, the necklace kept shifting and the thick, woven links were continually flipping over on their side instead of laying flat against my skin. I found myself continually adjusting the necklace with the palm of my hand to make sure it wasn't twisted. Instead of enjoying the evening wearing my gorgeous new necklace, I was distracted by it and was pretty angry since it was a pricey piece of jewelry. When we got home, I took the piece off, put it back in its custom box, put it in a drawer and never wore it again which is unfortunate because I loved the design.Fast forward 20 years, I came across this necklace I had worn once and wondered if it could be altered so it would sit properly around my neck. I took it back to Ross Simons and showed it to a saleswoman who said she recognized the old box Ross Simons no longer uses. I told her about the problem I had and put the necklace on. I flipped the chain on its side to illustrate what happens when the necklace is worn and this idiotic woman said "well you just did that with your hand." I said "yes, I was trying to show you how the necklace behaves, or rather misbehaves, when I wear it." I thought, could this saleswoman truly be that dumb? When I asked her if there was any way the necklace could be altered for a better fit, she was shaking her head "no" before I even finished my sentence. She then said "it is the nature of the beast, nothing can be done." The nature of the beast? What in the world was she talking about? I put the necklace away and headed for the door. It is hard to believe this clueless saleswoman has been employed at Ross Simons for decades. She was totally unprofessional and thoroughly incompetent. The Ross Simons store in Warwick is always empty now. The only cars in the lot belong to the few employees who still work there and after my experience with this person, I can see why. Ross Simons is no longer a fine jewelry store. Thankfully, I was able to immediately drive over to Baxter's on Jefferson Boulevard. I purchased a beautiful diamond ring from them and their customer service is second to none. I should have known better and just started at Baxters. They immediately evaluated the problem and came up with a solution. I dropped my necklace off with confidence and I am so excited I will finally be able to wear it again thanks to the real professionals at this establishment.Ross Simons should be avoided at all costs. If you are thinking of going there, go anywhere else.
