Had my windshield replaced last week, service tech was great, friendly, informative, neat-I have ZERO complaints👀 ! Right on time within the window they scheduled me for ! Really nice experience ! Props ! 👍👍👍

I had Safelite replace a window on my brand new CR-V and the experience was a disaster. The tech, Paulo, was scheduled for a 1–2 hour appointment but rushed through it in just 30 minutes. Right after, I noticed deep scratches on my interior door panel that were not there before as I have pictures.
Even worse, they left glass all over the inside of the door, which caused mechanical issues with the new window — it wouldn’t go up properly. I had to call them back out, and they told me that’s expected when replacing a window. That’s completely unacceptable, especially on a brand new vehicle.
Safelite took no responsibility for the damage or the poor cleanup. No apology, no fix, no accountability.
If you care about your car, do not go to Safelite. Rushed work, damage, poor cleanup, and zero customer support. Never again. Even if insurance suggests them as they have contracts to charge less, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SAFELITE.

Real easy to schedule through my insurance company's website. that assured me that all three parties Safelite, Amica and I were on the same page.
The safe light technician was great! explained the whole deal before he started and the repair looks great.

The technician who serviced my vehicle was super friendly. He explained to me that the windshield issue I was having was a common thing with the make, model, and year of my vehicle. Really appreciate the time and thought to explain this to me.

My experience was okay overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement. After they changed my air filter, I noticed two pieces were missing from my vehicle. It’s important that when parts are removed, they’re properly reinstalled before returning the car to the customer. Attention to detail and accountability go a long way I hope they take this feedback seriously and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

This is my second time using Safe Lite and both experiences have been exceptional. They explain everything and send out a educational video to review step by step what they will do and what to expect. The technician was absolutely professional and went above and beyond to help me. The cost and insulation was so much easier and cheaper than I was expecting. The service technician was thoughtful and considerate and quite knowledgeable. He was respectful of my property and my silly questions. They came to my house and had the windshield installed in less than 2 hours!

Unfortunately this review is based on the fact that I booked an appointment online several days in advance. The online booking asked me a lot of questions and took time (I should have just called and spoke to a real person I suppose). I made arrangements to drop the vehicle off since they can’t come to me for replacement windshield and perform the windshield sensor calibration. Well we get to Safelite, off of Jefferson Blvd. in Warwick, and were told they don’t have the glass so we would have to come back Monday morning. Guess what…we went back Monday morning and arranged a ride for drop off and everything, so just to be told again they don’t have the glass. This is very frustrating, how would they feel if I just didn’t show up for an appointment or two? No one called CA notify us that the glass wasn’t in stock either day.
I would consider updating this review if they take care of me for wasting my time and do a quality job but we will see if I even give them another try.
I am upgrading to 4 stars. Despite the initial mess up, we have Safelite another shot and they did take care of things so I am upgrading the rating. Thanks for responding and taking ownership.

One of the employees beeped at me and got mad when i jokingly beeped back then recklessy was friving cutting through traffic throwing a middle finger at me screaming at me in traffic and it was honestly embarrassing and sad a grown man forgetting how to act its embarrassing just do your job buddy.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR WINDSHIELD HERE!!!!!!
I originally took my car to have a glass repair at the Safelite location in Warwick, Rhode Island. After waiting for over three hours, was told that they could not recalibrate my windshield. The mechanic at that location told me he was on the phone with Mercedes-Benz, because they could not figure out how to recalibrate my windshield.
Not wanting to repeat a useless experience at Safelite, with mechanics, who obviously did not understand how to complete a job, I decided to try a second Safelite location.
I took my car to the Safelite location in Danbury Connecticut, they also said they could not recalibrate my windshield, but said they would order a new Mercedes windshield that perhaps could be recalibrated in my vehicle. This was an early July, and I was told by this location that my windshield had arrived for my July 30 appointment.
Unfortunately, I could not make that appointment so I just rescheduled with them for August 7. On August 6, I was called by Safelite and spoke to representative Kim H who told me my windshield was in fact not available at the location that had already confirmed it had arrived there and told me I would have to move my appointment. Marking yet another failure on Safelite’s end.
I am not sure why Travelers insurance approves of Safelite to do repairs for vehicles when there is clearly mismanagement on both a mechanical and organizational level.
At this point, it seems dubious as to whether my windshield will ever get fixed, but with all these failures on Safelite’s part from customer service through mechanics, I could never imagine using or recommending Safelite again.
