The lady who looks like the planet of the apes lady talked down to me when they made an error on my account. She then reported my bebit card lost/ stolen. My husband went to the hospital in equadore for an emergency a week later - my card was declined

New to this branch because the North Kingstown branch closed. The Bald Hill Rd location is less than convenient. Also, I am rarely able to make it to the bank before 5 pm and depend on the drive up ATM. Unfortunately, the ATM is frequently out of order. So far this is the 3rd time that I have been unable to withdraw funds because of a non functioning ATM. Will need to start searching for a new bank to do business with soon.

I've had Webster for over 20 years. Never had a problem with them. Always gave them excellent surveys when they emailed me. Recommended them to family and friends etc.... That being said, now that they bought Sterling and updated everything, apparently their customer service also, they are absolutely horrible! They update and don't tell the customer their electronic payments may be sent out by check so the creditors will get it wells weeks later, if at all. They send it to a completely incorrect PO Box. Then when you request a copy of said check, you cannot get it instantly like other banks. I called the Warwick location, was told they always send checks, it's not electronic. He huffed and puffed then sent me to someone that couldn't help. I was laughed at, hung up on, passed around to departments that I didn't need. I spent many hours only to be told I can't get the check for over a week. Putting my payment investigation in jeopardy. I am extremely disappointed and I'm sure the really don't care. If I could give 0 stars I would, that's how upsetting all of this has been.

Went to their ATM on a Tuesday the ATM didn't go to a menu to select anything just saying insert card I waited 10 min. after trying every button to see if would spit it out,we'll it didn't bank says I have to til Friday did I mention I have a reloadable debit card so i would have no access to my money. Friday comes and now I have to wait next Friday when it gets serviced are you kidding me I need access to my account Use the ATM at your own risk you might not get your card back YouNEED TO DO BETTER and I will be speaking to a manager this is enough oh they were supposed call me backthat Saturday guesswhat never happened I

So disappointed in Webster Bank. Have been a customer for 10+ years. They closed the 4 closest branches now. I’ve gone twice to try to open a student account for our daughter and twice they can’t do it (or won’t). I have to find a better bank.

Webster engages in policies that could cause overdrafts for customers. I was just told by a rep. The way the systems are set up. Transactions update at 12am. While deposits get deposited between 1 and 6 am. Should be the other way around. Not Webster they're out for their ???. Opt out of ODP and let them keep their fees. I want no part of them.

They need a new manager he is rude and totally disrespectful. The asst manager Daevi is fabulous and friendly but the manager is not customer service oriented.. this branch has only one employee davei who is polite and knows his stuff and knows how to treat people. I have switched banks and have never been happier my deposits come in a day early and I am not constantly having to call to have errors fixed . One employee stated that Americans didn’t deserve stimulus checks and that Trump would continue to be president and we would not be getting checks ... he was wrong

Run away as fast as you can !!!the "manager" never redirected my deposits after forcing me to open a new account I'm sure it was to make his numbers look better .I think Wells Fargo did that too and got into a lot of trouble for it and then they threatened to keep my money that went into the wrong account which was their fault... be careful if you bank there you might not get your money back if they screw up . The manager Adrian is on an ego trip and his side kick John are so rude to the customers... they messed up my account than hide when they are called out on it ... Adrian has no clue how to be a manger and john is stuck so close to Adrian it's hard to tell where one ends and the other one starts... being rude and disrespectful to customers is the sure way to lose all your business...Can't wait till webster goes under.. John is so condescending it's like being lectured as he drones on about how he is never wrong and they are so perfect and throws politics into the conversation.. this is a bank not a polling place. Wake up fix your mistakes and treat customers nice. Karma sucks. Go to Navigant credit union they know how to treat customers ... plus you get your direct deposits a day early. No fees and great service at Navigant ... webster is awful

I have been a Webster Bank customer for a long time when they originally came to Rhode Island. I recently was injured in an industrial accident and havnt had direct deposit because of no income. I was hit with a monthly service fee that made my car insurance once and caused me a fee and may cause me to lose my car insurance. When I asked to have the fee removed after explaining my situation I was told by the person that they were sick too and this was my life choice that caused this. You know getting injured is a life choice. I also lost my house that was mortgaged by Webster after someone lit my house on fire and was denied a modification and a died in leu. Webster sold the house for 6900dollars and the next person sold it for 200000dollars a few months later. You tell me Webster is a good bank now.
