“Can’t say enough about George J and this business. Had a road trip coming up on a Wednesday and car needed some repairs, our other car had been totaled the week before. He didn’t have time or the room, but replaced a wheel bearing for us on Monday. After I noticed some noise from the front, I called him and they replaced the cv axle and serviced the transfer case, after hours because they were extremely busy all day, and got us on the road. Car ran great on the road trip and his prices were better than anywhere around. If you’re looking for a good local mechanic this spot should be your first choice. -Alex”

“Taylor’s Garage is outstanding. Chris and Ashley are amazing to work with and the service they provide is a 10/10. When you send your kids off to college with their cars it is one additional thing to worry about, and I am thankful to have found a honest mechanic they can turn to. “First time going here for service. Highly recommended by mom so there is that. Plus a small shop in a tiny town loaded with vehicles is always a good sign. They staff are super friendly and they did a great job on my XTS. I got tires, oil change and tuneup. Price is very reasonable and I will definitely utilize them. There 20 minutes from my house and I would still say it’s worth the trip. They seem very trustworthy and I’m very happy with the results. Thank you again for taking care of me.”

“I Called about getting some tires I had purchased “used” put onto my truck. They didn’t give me a hard time they just informed me of their policies. This was on Thursday they had an opening Friday. I drop my truck off they did the tires, mounted and balanced. Alignment, oil change etc. VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND GREAT SERVICE ???”

“Outstanding Care for Classic Cars & Top-Tier Service!
Took my '69 Corvette to Melvin’s Tire, and they did an incredible job. They were extremely meticulous when mounting the tires to make sure the wheels were not damaged in the slightest. The turnaround was fast, they installed the white lettering facing out exactly as requested, and even took the extra time to wash off the factory blue protective dye.
At one point, four guys teamed up to knock the job out of the park. Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a tire shop. Incredibly impressive teamwork and customer service. If you value your time and money, this is the shop to go to!”
“Couldn’t be happier to find this gem of a mechanic shop. Friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. My car failed to pass inspection due to a minor EVAP code. Rather than try to sell me unnecessary repairs and diagnostics they suggested I try a new gas cap, which did the trick for $15.
I’ve had similar experiences with Midas and others around town that tried to sell me ridiculous repairs for something like this.
Will absolutely be back!”
