Great place to buy exercise equipment

My trainer suggested I order some resistance bands so she could send me some homework between sessions. This was the brand she pointed to, because she said they last pretty well (it's what she uses in her studio). I got them pretty quickly, in about 3 days. They were really cheap, too--about $2.50 each, so I bought a few. So that's all good. They really need to come up with another way to do shipping costs, though. The items I bought cost $10.50 total and the shipping--on items that are measured in ounces, not pounds--was $9.99. The heaviest thing by a long shot was the catalog that they sent; the items I purchased weighed almost nothing and the only reason they would have needed to be in a package as large as what they came in was because of the catalog. I know that shipping is the mailing but also the materials, but... yikes. I went ahead because I was placing my order at midnight and wasn't sure where I'd be able to go get them elsewhere in the next couple days, but next time I'd probably just take the time to visit Fitness Factory and pick stuff up.

Great company. I deal with them regularly. Having lived on the east coast for a while where they are based, I have an affinity there, too. Lisa is knowledgeable and patient & professional. Everyone there is very pleasant and they have quality equipment. I tell them it's Mike again who experienced 1 of the late 70s/80s big glory days of bodybuilding that had Mike Katz and Robby Robinson, and Casey Viator, and who also lived in NYC for a spell during the exciting late 70s & early 80s when the L.A. Lakers often did battle with the Boston Cetlitcs. I have purchased a lot from them, often big ticket price equipment at affordable costs. It's Always a worry-free transaction. I've never had any negative experiences, let alone being notified at the last minute, sorry we ran out of stock. They treat me well too. Thanks perform-better, Rhode Island. Thanks sooo much. :)

They acknowledged the description and picture did not reflect what was sent me. I ordered weight plates WITH handles, plates came without handles. Still wouldn't refund me the shipping.I then said to them, the honest thing to do is update your product pages, but then they wouldn't even promise me THAT.Do not buy from here.Why would Perform Better not perform a complete refund? It wasn't my fault they were mislabeled.

A novice in desperate search for a high quality kettlebell during Covid-19 led me to Perform Better. I was so excited to see the UPS man last night! The bell is beautiful! The company was in constant communication updating the status of my order from the time it was placed. . As I advance, I am confident I will be using this company in the future. I searched everywhere for workout equipment since gyms are closed and came across PB. At first there was limited supplies online so I called and got in touch with Gerard. Gerard was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He set me up with a barbell set and kettlebells and gave me an ETA of restock. The best part was that when new plates came in (I originally wanted rubber plates: ETA August 2020) he immediately reached out to me via email and recommended them. He allowed me to pick up the equipment to save myself the shipping charge and everything was easy. Again, thank you for all your help and amazing service, you're a good man Gerard. I highly recommend PF for all their equipment needs.

I have ordered several items during the past few months in preparation to exercise at home and have been pleased with the response on getting the items. Within a day or so I was able to get what I ordered without a problem. Great customer service and turnaround especially during this situation. Keep up the good work!

Not as described. Called Customer Service for them to make it right. They were rude and condescending. I sent a follow up email hoping for the same which was ignored. I would not use them again.

I love this company! Customer service is excellent. Picking up at warehouse once products are ordered. Warehouse staff is super accommodating with loading or unloading products. Every product we have purchased from Perform Better has been great. Functional fitness gurus.
