This is just for the C19 vaccine. To be clear, I live 30 minutes from this location and probably won't pop in here unless I randomly find myself in Westerly. I've heard a few horror stories from family and friends that went to state sites and pharmacies and had to wait an hour plus to get their vaccine. This location was VERY streamlined and had me in and out in 20 minutes. I checked in close to the entrance, a very friendly store associate sent me to another line I was on for 2 minutes and went to another room where they gave me the shot. Every staff member I interacted with was super nice and apparently according to the dude that administered the shot, CVS really tries to ensure they don't over book for time slots and ensure things don't get backed up or clogged. Smart. They ask you to stick around for 15 minutes after to ensure there is no bad reaction and they gave everyone who received a 20% off coupon for a future purchase for getting vaccinated at a CVS - which I promptly used to buy some tolietries and a candy bar cause hey - it was a Friday and I'm almost fully vaccinated!

recommend CVS Pharmacy. Jan 11, 2020, 1:21 AM They could start by being friendly and honest. Gave me a wrong script that was supposed to be different yet labeled it as the right one. Wasn't until I got home that I realized. Drove right back and they made me feel like I was trying to double up yet gave them the pills they gave me. 1 or 2 things happened. Someone was skimming off the top or they just screwed up really badly. Could have been a major health issue. Will be switching Pharms ASAP

I have been using this pharmacy on a more than regular basis for going on eight years . I have been told by numerous pharmacist that months that have 31 days you can pick up your prescription 3 days prior to your last pick up which makes it 28 days. I think as a nationwide pharmacy it should not be up to the pharmacist to pick and choose and select who they think should get prescriptions and when they choose to allow that individual the right to get his or her RX. I believe that this is bias and prejudice and is definitely against the law for I know people who deal with the same pharmacist not going to mention any names who are allowed to get their script sometimes four days early and I was just told by the same pharmacist I have to wait until the exact day I had it filled last month ... that is them picking in choosing and judging Who should get what and when ... as a nationwide corporation they should follow the same set of guidelines no matter the patient so either stick to two days three days or four days prior to your last fill, this jumpomg around and they’re deciding who should get white and when is absolutely wrong while they use their personal opinion . basically I’m asking that insurance is willing to cover the RX and it goes through insurance make it mandatory that every pharmacist sticks to the same set of rules considering the pharmacist is the lowest man on the totem pole considering the doctor writes the script and insurance is the one that’s paying for it and qualifies it . I know I’m not the only one that’s going through this but I feel like I needed to make it known publicly that they are in full violation of the law on how and when I get my medication or take my medication that should strictly be between myself and my Doctor Who prescribed me my meds. I’ve been a loyal customer and so has my wife to CVS for 10+ years spending roughly $10,000 a year at that pharmacy alone and we will no longer be doing business with them with the absolute sour taste that has been left in my mouth by the way I was just spoken to on the phone by the pharmacist...

Went to buy some pregnancy tests. I bought 3 boxes because I mean... I wanna be sure you know? So I brought my items to the pharmacist counter and the lady just stands there and looks at me funny. I felt very uncomfortable, like I was being judged. She says "Are you sure you want to buy all of these?" I said "Yes, I want to be sure." And she told me it was a waste of my money. I think it's more than worth it and I told her that! So rude and uncalled for. I never asked for her opinion on my purchases. It is not her place at all. Really could have done with out the added strain on my mood. I was already stressed as it was....
