They can raise your rent whenever they want and they do. 6 months 9 months 10 months you never know and you never know how much. And when you ask they can't tell you. Stay away unless very short term. Also big mouse problem. Request for at least an email explaining policy got nothing. Only the new so-called manager says we can raise your rent whenever we want. I moved out after many many years. To a place that could tell me what their increase policy was

Very poor service and accounting. Charges are not automatically processed. Many times we were charged the wrong amount and had to fight for refunds. Management very inefficient and poor.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have been trying to get a hold of someone for two months. No one is ever in the office, airport road or post road. I have spoken to customer service and they have said they escalated the issue to the district and regional managers, but no one has contacted me back yet. I started hand delivering payment to avoid late fee because of their âissues with the mailâ (according to an email received in September) and they still charge the fees. Avoid them at all costs.

We went to our storage unit to move in on 11/30 - the unit was filled with leaves & garbage. Called Cust. Svc. and told no one was available but would receive a call from the manager the next day. We live two hours away and had to borrow a broom and clean it ourselves prior to putting into the unit. I have not heard anything in three weeks. Have called and left messages, put a review on their website which said I would hear from someone within 3-5 days = nothing. In addition there is a landscaping trailer in front of the unit making it difficult to get our truck near the unit. If we weren't so pressed for time since selling our house I would never use this facility. Still waiting for any response!!!! In addition the last two visits the security gate is wide open.

It became too expensive too fast. I would have stayed for years. Plus the door to get in to my climate control unit was not working. I had to use the door further down the building.

This company has increased my cost over $100/mo in less than a year. I now am looking at a $40 increase in my monthly rate WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION AT ALL!

There is a disconnect from the call center (customer service center) to the on site manager. The layout of the entrance and exit of the facility was poorly thought out. I few simple changes would make entering and exiting the facility more friendly to all. I have been parking trailers over 40 foot for over 20 years. The lot sizes need to be reviewed and/or repainted, and the trees/brush need to be trimmed down. The indoor facilities appeared in good condition, but we did not purchase because the outdoor trailer lot that we purchased did not fit our needs.

Bought a unit and cancelled same day due to not needing it anymore, took management 4 days to "remember" to cancel my unit and I still havent gotten a refund 11 days later
Edit: Now that I have received my money back two weeks later, I will give a more reflective review. The management at the post road location Nick was actually very nice and helpful and the prices for their service are actually good. The spaces look to be clean and well taken care of. My main issue is the lack of urgency to return customers money back in a timely fashion. I was told that it is the district manager that is generally in charge of these things but he wasn't around to do them until 4 days after. My response to this is get more people on hand that can process these transactions or at the very least maybe not have it all fall on one person who may or may not be around to service customers properly. Never have I waited this long to receive money back, 99% of the time it's 3-5 business days and 5 is still pushing it. Tldr: they either need more people who can process transactions for their customers or they need a better system in place to better service said customers.
