Good sammies. The teenagers behind the counter were good at counting small bills. I liked that another Nate ordered after I did

We stopped there on our first day of vacation. We got sandwiches for the beach, I had a BLT on white bread that was chock-full of bacon. I also had a grilled chocolate chip muffin that was grilled to perfection. My friend had a turkey sandwich which was pulled high with turkey and fresh veggies. We had two iced lattes and the cookies and cream milkshake that was so good . The ice latte was full of flavor. The cookies and cream milkshake was nice and thick and hit the spot. My only regret was not getting some more pastries and muffins to bring back to our beach rental. But since it was our first day of vacation, We will definitely be back this week. What a great find on our first day of vacation.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great stop before the beach... great options for wraps and sandwiches, even solid picks for the kids, including every New England kid's fav, peanut butter and fluff! My one reservation with this place is that it is super overpriced. Now, you definitely get a good portion but, $35 for 2 wraps and 2 flavored waters? Very pricey for a quick bite by the beach. But hey, if you don't mind the price, go for it! Great quality and quantity.

This spot has come a long way from its previous life as a gas station. The renovation of the building was done beautifully. It feels comfortable and cozy inside and has great outdoor seating with many picnic tables, a nice lawn, and a tent to sit in the shade. The location is prime, its right across from a family-friendly surf beach. Unfortunately, the cafe offerings are pretty sub-par. Ok, realistically, they suck. The pre packaged bagels, candy, coffee, etc, is no better than what youd find at your normal convenience store. Almost everything they serve is preservative-filled, and comes off a truck, Im not sure many (or any) of their products are local or fresh. Someone whos been going there longer than I have had even said its rumored that they pick up certain menu items at Walmart. That's absurd. Im really surprised that the Weekapaug community is satisfied with such low-quality food at the only breakfast/coffee spot in the neighborhood. The Innlet has such potential to be amazing. If it had fresh higher quality food, itd be the best breakfast cafe in town, rivaling St Claire Annex or Misquamicut Sandwich Co. Also, they are only open for about 3 months a year, which is a real shame because Id love to make this my morning coffee stop all year round, and Im sure many other people in the neighborhood and town would as well. I understand its a neighborhood staple, but times are changing and theres nothing wrong with improving on something, right? Improvement serves to benefit the whole community and would be a step towards making Weekapaug even better.

Not enough butter. Too much cream cheese. Disappointed with the declining quality. Seems to me, they might be "phoning it in" this year.
