I will never go anywhere else in RI. Paul Bailey’s said it was too early to get out of my lease. Bald Hill wanted me to pay $700 or more. Thank you Mike Neville and Dave Fontaine for being honest and getting into brand new Jeep Wrangler.

WARNING - Service is more interested in selling than fixing. I took my 2016 Town and Country here because I had a 'CHECK ENGINE' light. I knew it had something to do with the torque converter because of the code I found with my OBD tool. Service looked it over and performed an oil change (which I requested). When my wife picked up the van they told her that the car needs a new transmission and quoted $7,500 to replace. My wife called me to tell me this, so I called the service department. I ended up speaking to a secretary and I asked why they thought the transmission was bad if I have had no symptoms of transmission issues? Only answer: 'That's what we found, very common issue.' Then I asked what sort of troubleshooting did they do to confirm the transmission was bad when the code refers directly to the torque converter? I heard the technician in the background say to the secretary "Tell him I see this all the time, and the new transmission comes with a new torque converter...I think."Since I could smell the baloney through the phone, I decided to call an old friend that has always been honest with me and whom also owns his own repair shop in Wakefield - Brian's Rite-Way Auto, 466 Main St, Wakefield, RI. Brought to Brian and he had it for a few days. When he was done, he called and told me that he serviced the transmission, fluid, filters, etc, and found the modulating torque converter solenoid was the issue. Total cost of actually diagnosing the problem, and fixing it: $750.001/10th of the cost of Ocean. Worst part is these people give honest mechanics a bad name. Not my first rodeo with them either.!!CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!

Do not take your vehicle here for service, even if purchased from this Dealership. They do not honor their work when faulty.I bought a Ram truck here brand new in March 2020. The salesperson and my entire experience buying the vehicle was not an issue and the truck was everything I had hoped for 2+ years.I had an issue with DEF being introduced to my fuel by another party, BIG problem. Brought the truck here to be fixed in mid August. Despite insurance covering the repairs it still took almost a month to get the repairs done. Literally picked the truck up 2 days before I was scheduled to relocate to Maine for a job opportunity. I understand supply chain issues so I don't necessarily have an issue with the length of time the repair took, only that it was down to the wire.Fast forward 1 month, when I get in the truck on a Monday morning to go to work (had recently driven the truck to Massachusetts that weekend and back with no issues) and the truck will not start. Indicator on the dash says water in fuel. Had not done anything with DEF since getting the car back from Tasca and had been filling at the same gas station since moving to Maine but here we are.Was able to get the truck to a local to me large Mopar dealership and the verdict was that the injectors were not properly programmed when replaced and the fuel rail was not replaced at all which I was told (and also saw the print out from Chrysler) is standard procedure with this type of job, thus causing the fuel system to be contaminated again and the entire 10K+ job needed to be redone.Obviously insurance will not cover faulty work done by a third party and the local dealer is unable to warranty the parts due to the critical step being missed. So I reached out to Tasca to see if they would make it right. I spoke at first with the service advisor Jose whom I had dealt with during the initial repairs. The service manager from the dealership here in Maine had also been in touch with Jose to try to get this taken care of. Both he and I were told that Tasca was not responsible and I was basically out of luck.I escalated to the service manager Gregory and after leaving multiple messages was more or less told the same story and that either the dealership I have the truck at now could somehow warranty bad parts (even though the parts themselves did not fail, but were ruined due to poor workmanship) or I was going to have to pay out of pocket.Long story longer - this shop will not stand by their work and you will have to have their work redone by another shop and will be stuck with the bill for another 10k+ in repairs.Their website has this commitment listed"We humbly pledge to continue the Tasca Family Commitment that YOU WILL BE SATISFIED"I, for one, am not satisfied.

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked them to check brakes due to the fact when you brake it pulls to the right. After a couple hours I received a call that I needed pads, rotors, calipers and brake hoses. 1700 was their quote. I told them I want to have a family member look at the brakes. The pads were over 50 percent, rotors were fine and calipers worked great. We tested the hoses and the left side seemed to not work correctly. 2 brake hoses later and 40 bucks and the jeep braked prefect. Be very careful when you receive an estimate that seems high. Unfortunately everyone is nice there but not sure how honest. They definitely lost a customer for life. By the way my friend bought a 2018 Rubicon from them and he brought in for a noise from brakes. 2000 later it was fixed. Unfortunately we will never know if it was legit but do your homework. If you needed everything for all 4 tires the parts would cost 800. Sorry guys but beware.
