Our hostess was delightful & very welcoming! She was sure we wanted for nothing! The place was so quaint AND clean!!’ I loved all the nuances! The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept on while staying at an AirB& B! I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts & really appreciated how lovely the table setting was. Lastly, you can’t beat the location! We were so close to the beach, restaurants & don’t forget it’s a winery! They have live acoustic musicians that add to the experience of sitting outside & enjoying a nice glass of wine in the afternoon. We found our new ‘girl’s w/e’ away spot!

Drove by and discovered this Winery right on the corner of Shore and Langsworthy Road. I saw they had Live music on Saturday between 3-6pm. Well guess what…… It was Saturday (Memorial Day wknd) and it was 2:45! Perfect!!! I quickly ran back to the Airbnb, changed and came back with 3 friends. We had such a nice time! Mark was gearing up to serenade us with his soulful voice! I decided to try a sampling of Red’s and one Rose’. I ended up liking the Merlot and their cheese platter, which made its way to our table adorned with candied nuts, salami, three different cheeses, crackers, grapes and strawberries. What a nice combination to accompany my glass of heaven, on a beautiful sunny day! The owners are very friendly!

I always enjoyed stopping for a wine tasting after a late lunch at Windjammer. Website said they open at 4 on Friday. I drove in sign was hanging crooked & looks abandoned. Sad.

Visited the winery and it is under new ownership. Rebecca was super friendly and attentive. Had a flight tasting and would highly recommend all the white wines if you love white wines. Nice to see new owners that want to get involved in the community and are willing to listen to their customers feedback. Looking forward to visiting again!

We like to stop by here when we are in town. Stopped by today and there was a sign on the door indicated they are temporarily closed while a new owner/Management is taking over. Hopefully They keep the winery open.

This place ruined what was supposed to be a long weekend vacation. The room was dirty and there were spiders and cobwebs everywhere. The breakfast looked like it was made by a 5 year old. Im sure their positive reviews came from paid family and friends.

My partner and I were looking forward to a relaxing long weekend in the Langworthy Suite of the BnB. Unfortunately our experience was so disappointing, and gross, that a 3 and a half day vacation was stopped in its tracks in less than 15 hours. We called to inform the owner, Joe, that we would be late to arrive, to which he replied quite rudely. However we completely understood that our arriving late was our own fault.
Check in was fine but after returning from dinner we discovered a huge spider in the bathtub (not pictured). After removing the large spider we began looking around and found a nest of webs and little spiders in the bathroom. Pictures below. (Not pictured- the dead fly near the shower). We also found a used floss pick on the floor next to the bed. There were also several cobwebs on the bed frame and throughout the room, also pictured.
There is clearly a lack of care in both the quality and cleanliness of the rooms and the hospitality of the owners. In the morning we were looking forward to at least enjoying the coffee service left in the hallway. My partner served the coffee in our room and we were disgusted to find, after a few sips, that there was lipstick stains on the mug (which is unacceptable in any situation but even more so due to COVID hygiene standards). That morning we also discovered THREE (3) spiders on the ceiling and were freaked out when we lost view of one of them—which we later discovered made its way into the bed during our sad, effortless breakfast, pictured below. As two hard working people who previously worked in the hospitality industry we were extremely disappointed that a vacation that we had been looking forward to had been ruined before it even started. After informing the owner that we would like to cancel the remainder of our booking due to the factors stated above, he informed us he would have to charge at least one night because “someone else could’ve booked that room”. There was no remorse for an experience that couldn’t even rise to the classification of subpar. We did not receive an apology or any offer to remedy the situation. There is no care, or pride in the state of the BnB or the uninspired microwaveable breakfast served.
We are only grateful that joe agreed to cancel our remaining two nights without charging us for it.

We stayed in the Governor Ward Suite for two nights. We were pleasantly surprised to find a dressing room between the bedroom and the bathroom. Awesome dual showers. Bed was comfy. The website didn't specify where this room was located. We were on the first floor in the front. We were surprised by the Inn and winery's location on the corner of two busy streets, so street noise was something we didn't anticipate. A/C in the room was loud and leaking. Our room key also opened the side door entrance to the Inn. The front door of the Inn didn't lock. My boyfriend was concerned about security, but everything turned out ok. No window treatments and the blinds didn't fit the windows fully, so felt a little on display considering this was 1st floor. Joe was a gracious host making great breakfasts and providing excellent suggestions and tips for our visit. Murals in the dining room are well done and beautiful to look at. The vineyard was small and we enjoyed the wine tasting but only liked 3 of 10 wines. Westerly white was our favorite wine. We would have preferred a one night stay but 2 nights were required. Joe has done a lot with the property since 1999. I hope he finds a buyer who will propel the business into the future while preserving the best parts of the past.

Stopped at the winery to sit, had a glass of wine with my wife, when we were done, we were walking back to the car, and the owner comes running out to our car to tell us we can't take the glasses. Never happened before as we have been to many wineries has the owner come after us to retrieve 2 glasses. Not going back there.

The proprietors were are attentive. The breakfasts were always excellent.
The rooms were classic New England and clean and neat. We come for a weekend every year, either summer or fall and we will continue to do so.
