Took a lesson as a first time surfer, and it was so much fun! Easy to book, great arrival instructions. The instructor was great; knowledgeable and patient! Would definitely recommend Paddle Surf RI!

Our second experience with Paddle Surf, we booked a semi-private lesson for our 9 year old grandson and his friend, first timers. We arrived early but our instructor (Carter) took us immediately. The waves were challenging for beginners but Carter had the boys in the water quickly and both said they had a fantastic time.
Memory-making experience for all!

I had the most amazing time. First time surfing and have always wanted to try (only took 43 years) I showed up and was greeted with a big smile and friendly welcome. Quickly got suited up with a wetsuit, met my instructor and hit the beach. Instructor was super cool and friendly, putting any nerves I had at ease. Learned the basics, the pop up movement and quickly hit the water. To be honest, the rest of the time was spent having a great conversation while we waited for a good wave, rode the wave, went back, got pointers. . . rinse and repeat. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that ever wanted to try to surf! Can’t wait to go back and get my kids some lessons!

My daughter was a first time surfer when she came to surf camp. She had an absolute blast! By the end of the week she was riding waves with a group of great people! The instructors were attentive and all rallied for her. The owner was always checking in for how the kids felt and their comfort zones, and was very in tune to their individual needs. He and the other instructors always respected when the kids needed to sit for a minute and rest. As a spectator, it was incredible for me to watch my daughter learn to surf, and she can’t wait to come back next summer! Thank you Brian, Nico, Owen, and Jackson. And calling the extra instructor in for the last day of camp, my daughter was able to get even more guidance and honed her skills even more! It was an experience she surely won’t ever forget!🤙

a great & easy experience all around! first, I accidentally signed up with the incorrect email & emailed Lisa, which she responded to extremely quickly & helped locate my reservation. then we decided to change the days & emailed Lisa again- once again answered extremely quickly & got us rescheduled to a day that worked better for us. the day before surfing, Brian reached and & let us know there was a possibility the waves wouldn’t be big enough. he made sure to give us enough time to decide what we wanted to do. we ended up keeping our reservation and paddle boarding since we couldn’t surf. Brian was great at teaching us & even let our extra friend join us last minute. overall great customer service!! 💯💯

This place is great, we rented paddle boards for 1 hr and had such a good time. We plan to come back when we visit again.

Unbelievable experience! Cody was an excellent instructor, my husband and I learned so much in a hour about surfing. Cody was patient, and gave great feedback based on our progress. Beautiful night in Westerly to surf. We will be back soon!!

Brian and his team of wonderful instructors make any day on the waves a blast and memorable. My 12 year old son has attended their surf camp a few times and taken group lessons and always comes away thrilled and inspired for more.
