I had my first ever surf lesson (a private lesson) a couple of days ago and had a wonderful experience. From their response to an email inquiry about lessons all through the first lesson, their team was friendly, competent, and reassuring, perfect for me as a nervous beginner! I could see the progress I made in just the time span of the hour-long lesson, even though we were challenged by some enthusiastic waves that day, thanks to my knowledgeable and encouraging instructor.

Brian is the absolute best ! The perfect wave concierge!!! His entire crew amazing - I have had lessons with so many and been super happy with them and the lesson. Lisa is wonderful and great to work with regarding scheduling. Hope to take a paddle lesson from her one day. Paddle Surf RI a gem in RI and a special place. I'm choosing to review this business because of how wonderful I was treated. I had a scheduled lesson but broke my wrist a few weeks before the lesson. I called and spoke with the owner, and she not only credited my account for the entire amount. I am going to reschedule my lesson and review this amazing place again. The location and professionalism every time I call is outstanding.

We had an amazing surf lesson! Took them with my sister in law and our kids. The guys were patient with us and very clear on how they explained how to pop up, etc. I was able to get up for a few seconds, which was more than I expected! Highly recommend giving this a try.

Paddle Surf RI is top notch. They are fun, caring, patient, and attentive. I highly recommend them not only for surf lessons, but also for SUP and kayaking! Surf lessons with Paddle Surf RI were the highlight of my daughter’s summer! Thank you and we can’t wait until next next year for an entire summer of more water fun with Paddle Surf RI!

Not just for kids, we had a great experience learning to surf, highly recommend for adults too! Jackson and Brian were patient and helpful teachers and paid attention to the details. Great spot in Westerly, waves perfect for beginners. 11/10 worth it! Don’t forget to rent paddleboards at their location in Avondale and paddle on the Pawcatuck. It is so much fun and such an easy activity.

Took a lesson on the electric e foil and had a blast. Excellent beach location with some minor chop, with a great instructor, got to ride around for over an hour. Had a wonderful time.

Paddle Surf RI is a gem! The location makes it great for beginner and experienced paddle boarders because you can paddle in serene water and avoid boats on the busy river! Go check them out and enjoy the beautiful landscape!

I like paddle surf RI so much!The coach Jackson is so nice and check my safety all the time! I learned 3 times this summer! Hope the class time could be a little more longer so that I could learn more! See you next summer!
