One of the best used bookstores. The owner jIll has excellent taste. I discovered my favorite authors' lesser known books, for example, Jane Gardam, Janet Malcolm, Patricia Highsmith. It is wonderfully curated. What a collection! Great prices considering the quality.

I really enjoyed spending some time at ReReads. The owner, Jill, was super welcoming and helpful. We chatted about books and I even got to talk about the book I'm writing! She had lots of great recommendations for me and I could have probably spent at least several hours in her store. I can tell that Jill really cares about her customers and wants to help everybody find the perfect book. The prices were great and all of the books were in truly excellent condition. I bought a hardcover that was released in 2022 for $12.50 (less than half of the MSRP!). If I ever find myself in Westerly again I will definitely have to go back to ReReads.

This place is wonderful! Jill, whom I’m assuming is the proprietor, is so help and kind! I brought my 4 kids in with me tonight and she took the time to talk to each kid and help them find books to their preferences! I left with my arms full of books and so much joy! I can’t wait to go back!!!

This is one of the most magical, perfect bookstores I've ever been to, and it's all thanks to Jill. My friend and I stopped here as we were passing through Westerly. Jill immediately asked us what we've recently read and gave us such thoughtful book recommendations. After talking to us for a bit, she even gave us a free book. Jill is an expert both at books and at people, and she clearly loves what she does. I live 2 hours away in Southern CT, and I think I'll drive back up here just for this bookstore. Thanks for everything, Jill!!

Great experience at this bookstore. The owner was excited to engage with their customers and make recommendations on something I would like. Yes, the bookstore has books everywhere, but the joy of a bookstore is the hunt for that next great read. I will definitely visit again when I am in town.

While I came in unsure of what I was exactly looking for, Jill eagerly helped me find two books right up my alley. Jill was incredibly friendly, asking me not only about what I'm reading but also where I'm from. She has great prices, and her store encourages using secondhand books. I will definitely be back soon to buy more books!

Stumbled upon this shop while exploring the area and it was the highlight of my trip. Any book lover (or anyone aspiring to get into reading) will appreciate this cozy treasure trove with its delightful curator, Jill. Jill charmed me immediately with her thoughtful questions and chill vibes, inspiring a lovely conversation about our favorite books. While perusing her extensive and whimsical collection, I overheard her interaction with a young person looking for summer reading ideas. I was blown away by Jill's care and attention, as well as her obvious passion for both the joy and the life-changing potential of reading. If I'm ever in the area I will without a doubt pop in for books and a visit, and I highly recommend you do the same!

I have never been to a more amazing place. Not only is there a great selection of books, but Jill, the owner, was kind and wonderful to talk to. She wanted to know all of the books we were reading, took the time to listen to us, and was enthusiastic about what we were learning. Thank you for providing the community with such amazing and safe place :)

Came in here with some friends on a Friday night. Jill was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the books I described, and had quite a large selection of books available, including some art books with beautiful illustrations- asked quite a reasonable price for them. Friendly and great service, just have to ask.

We went here towards the end of a friend's bachelorette party and it was incredible! Still open at 11pm and the owner Jill was so friendly! She recommended some incredible books that I'm looking forward to reading! Thank you for an amazing end to a very special night!

As a writer I am also an avid reader who vehemently believes in supporting independent new and used bookshops. This is what initially drew me into this store. However, It is with great disappointment that I disclose why I WILL NEVER GO BACK to Re-read Books.Owner, Jill, despite having multiple posted signs in her shop, "buy 2 books get one free" proved that she cannot be trusted to honor her own policy. ("are you local?" Jill asked. "No, we live in Jamestown." "Ahhhh...")After purchasing 6 books I gave no thought to checking my receipt until the following day. I DO remember thinking that the final price sounded high for what should have amounted to 4 soft-cover second-hand novels (=$48) Not only was I charged for all 6 books but Jill took the liberty of marking one book, which had no price, (and was the smallest at 180 pages and, arguably, the most insignificant of all) at the highest price of all (= $8.50). She made no mention about this throughout the transaction. The following day my first phone message to her shop was polite. In it I briefly described the "inadvertent" charges and asked to be called back to straighten out the matter. No response. I checked the store hours and waited until the shop was open -to give her the benefit of the doubt; I still had hopes that she might call me back. Sadly, I was mistaken.Nothing. Zero. Nada.Wanting to remain fair, I calculated the cost of the least expensive book, ($5) along with the arbitrarily priced one ($8.50) for reimbursement and called my credit card company who reversed the overcharges. Unlike the shop's owner the credit company was fair and obliging. To Jill: This is no way to run a business. To would-be customers: run, don't walk, to the nearest exit.

My wife and I were walking through downtown to get coffee when we decided to check out this Bookshop. We realized hours later at home we forgot our coffee, but happily had something better...a wonderful collection of books. Jill, the owner, was extremely helpful in recommending books for my wife and me. She even had a solid recommendation for my son, and was kind enough to gift us the book for my son (who is currently infatuated by it).I do plan on coming here for all of my future book purchases. You can tell the owner has a passion for what she does, and I am happy my caffeine addiction helped me stumble upon this amazing store.

Love, love this shop! The selection is wonderful and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. I will make time to stop in every rime I am in the area, but moreover, will go out of my way to stop in and see what's new.

ReReads is a wonderful book shop! We came upon it about a week ago on our first visit to Westerly. Jill, the owner, is very enthusiastic and helpful and we had a nice long chat about what we’d been reading and about books of all kinds. The sorting system is unique (in my experience), but the books are in beautiful shape and it’s obvious how much care is given to choosing and displaying them. I found some Ellis Peters paperbacks that I hadn’t seen in any other used book shop! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in!
