I took a large pile of challenging shipping returns to Staples some with boxes, some without, some with QR codes, some without some with labels some without… And yet the staples assistant was not the least bit daunted and got me out the door with a toddler in under three minutes. It was a miracle that had me raving about them for the rest of the day. Thank you, Kyle!

Received wonderful service for printing work by a friendly store employee, Nancy. It was done exactly how I needed and turned around quickly, highly recommend the service when you have printing needs.

I have mailed UPS packages here for 3 years. Over 100 with no problem. Unfortunately in the last few months the lines are outrageous.... Because of the SLOW , CONFUSED, employee that doesn't know what he's doing and hasn't been trained well. Customers give their phone number and recent addresses are stored for a period of time in the app. He doesn't acknowledge this fact. I sent a package last week to an address I've mailed to monthly. I had the address clearly written out. When it didn't arrive I pulled out my receipts. The address was typed in incorrectly. Not even close! Yes, I should have checked my receipt before I left the store. However, the address was printed clearly on an index card that has been used many times to ship packages. UPS will not honor a claim because the package was delivered to the address HE typed in incorrectly. I am out the cost of the contents AND shipping. I realize it is hard to get employees but this it is unacceptable. Close down your UPS register if this is the best you can do Staples.

I only use this as a ups drop off and still have to wait 30mins in a 10+ person line to do some simple returns. A self serve kiosk would be faster. No wonder no one goes to staples anymore. I wrote this in line and walked out. This area needs a ups store badly.

I get the fact Box stores hire young folks ( I am ancient and 61) that have no clue to what a customer related service attitude should be. That said, I bought an HP printer 6 months ago at Westerly Staples. I barely used it and I put paper in yesterday and got a weird message stating," Photo Tray is Blocked". Nothing I did fixed it. All the standard attempts no luck. Went to HP website and found many customers having the same error with my model. Clearly, this is a major issue and the printer becomes useless when this happens. No easy fix, no ability to troubleshoot this at home. Called Staples and first thing the guy asks is if I bought a warranty. Told him no since basic rarely used printers should always last much longer than 6 months. Asked him if anything could be done since I purchased it there. Told me no and that there are more reliable products out there if I wanted to buy those it would be a solution. I tried to explain when as a store you sell a product you represent that product and should help customers that handed you their money. No help, no apology, just kind of tough luck attitude. Will never, ever by laptops or printers again based on the lack of help or even empathy to the situation. What is wrong with this group of adults?

Staples is the ONLY helpful Amazon UPS drop-off in our entire area of CT. They deserve kudos for delivering that service and we bought a big box of paper and several other items while there!!

I was at Staples, Westerly yesterday to drop off 3 packages to return to Amazon. First the young man behind the counter insisted that he'd scanned 3 packages when he hadn't. I had to go back to correct his mistake which had almost cost me $24. The same guy looked irritated. He never even greeted me, much less apologized for his error. I went to speak to the manager, which was even WORSE! Why are kids running a Staples store? He was surly at best. No greeting even. When I told him what had happened, the last thing I said was that that employee sucked. This's his response, "Well, I'm not going to call him out now, and tell him he sucks. I'll just tell him to b kinder." (I was not suggesting he should! And I didn't expect him to call the kid aside right then?! Good grief! And what the heck has kinder got to do with it?! He should b told that an apology was necessary, for something that almost cost me $24. So, in fact, the encounter with the manager was even worse than the actual problem. I'm shocked that "managers," have no training in customer service and none when it comes to politeness!! Very disappointed!!

Great place to ship a box. It's less hectic than the post office and they had several people working behind the counter to make the process very quick and easy. I have been to this store for office supplies, faxing documents, printing copies and more....it's a one stop shop for many things related to office supplies.
