I had scheduled a reservation for a 15’ box truck to be picked up at this location. The woman at this location told me to pick up the truck on the date scheduled and it would be ready. I gave her my card number and all that. Then the next day I get a call saying that I have to pick it up 25 miles away. LOL, I just have to say that’s terrible customer service. Lying about having a vehicle at your location when you do not. Total waste of time.

Added a cleaning fee the next day - after I watched the gentleman I turned the key into drive it back to it's initial parking space (Friday) When I call to ask about the $25 cleaning fee after the charges were posted on my credit card- I am told to come in and same gentleman will investigate. Upon arriving back at the office, I am told that the woman on duty the following day (Saturday) said that the truck was dirty and therefore a $25 cleaning fee was added. When asked, the gentleman told me that the woman on duty on Saturday said it was dirty - but "couldn't remember exactly what the dirtiness was" -
My question is - 1) why didn't the same gentleman check the truck when I returned it, handed him the keys and he drove it back to the parking space I picked it up in and then close the account.
2)was the truck dirty from me? - and if so why wasn't that noted when I returned the truck to the same person I picked it up from
3) did someone dirty the truck in between when I dropped it off at 2:30 and Saturday morning?
4) or is that something that happens at this particular U-haul location (as has been mentioned in a previous review) to insure that the location gets an additional $25
In any case - I should have insisted that the contract was closed out in front of me as soon as I handed the keys in at 2:30 on Friday and watched him return the truck to it's original parking space - I guess I trusted that they would charge me appropriately and fairly
Shame on me.

Rented truck. It was in poor condition, oil light on, smelled of burning oil as it was driven and exhaust stunk terribly. Was then over charged by a day because the representative was too busy to put my delivery of the truck in the computer on time. After i asked for a refund for the extra day she told me she would call me back, and never did. She then went and charged me a cleaning fee so that i only got a partial refund for the extra day. There was no cleaning fee on the originalreceipt so it was clearly an attempt to keep some money. She never even inspected the truck when i returned it AND i swept, hosed and squeegeed the back out to be sure it was properly cleaned. There was no need for that fee, especially on a truck that was in such poor condition. Also the app did not work correctlywhen i rented it andthe rep told me not toworry about it, but i could not even report the condition to uhaul. Very dissapointed

Me and my girlfriend got a storage center to hold stuff while we move and we ended up getting a 5x10 storage. So while snowing we are moving and we get to the storage center with our stuff and our container has a lock on it so we look for one that doesnt cause we had more stuff to move and had to return our uhaul last night. So we found one. It was a 10x10. We come and talk to the lady working see if she could just let us keep our stuff in the 10x10 and keep the price of the 5x10 seeing how she fu*ked up and rented us space that was locked up. She says no you can either move it to the one we rented to you or you can pay the difference. Long story short we payed the difference so we didnt have to slip on the ice all throughout trying to move our stuff again. I just think its messed up that she wouldnt even work with us on the price after the bullsh*t
