The people are very nice. I ordered a spare key and was given a verbal estimate, but no paperwork. At the time we picked up the key, they added an extra $50 for 30 minutes of "labor" needed to sync the key to the car.Our family had a bad experience several years ago when unauthorized work was added to a repair bill. We felt that a phone call should have been placed even if the extra work was necessary to complete the job properly. Getting a big surprise of hundreds of extra unbudgeted dollars does not seem to be good business in our opinion.

My experience at this dealership was very disappointing! The salesman (who was a manager) that I worked with was indifferent, not helpful and did not communicate the status of the new car I was getting. My vehicle was delivered to the dealership and sat there for weeks waiting to be prepped before I could come in and pick it up. When I did come in, I was handed the keys and told you are all set, I was not shown the vehicle etc. Because of this experience I will not return to Valenti Subaru for vehicle service or when the time comes to purchase my next Subaru someday.

This is our second purchase from Valenti in less than 6 months. My wife and I both needed a car and specifically drove past other Subaru dealerships that are closer to our home after reading positive reviews about Valenti. And, let me tell you, we couldn't be happier with our decision.1. Car buying doesn't have to be painful. We both used the same Sales Expert, Carlos Pineda. Carlos is knowledgeable, friendly, genuinely cares about his customers and is looking to create lasting business relationships - he's not just looking to "get the sale". He was responsive and thorough at every interaction. I cannot recommend him highly enough.2. Car buying doesn't have to take all day. When the Business Manager knows what he's doing and isn't looking to sell you something you don't need or leave you waiting to make you "sweat it out", it can be incredibly painless. Bo Cranick had everything ready to go, was well prepared and is an expert at what he does. Again, thorough, kind and genuinely cares about his customers and the business.3. We've got free oil changes as part of our purchase and I will gladly drive to Valenti to do it. We were introduced to the Service Team and felt like valued customers.I can only assume that this means that the dealership is run properly from the top down. You can tell when you're dealing with a business that has a good culture and while good culture and car dealerships aren't often thought of in the same sentence, Valenti is proof that it's possible.

I thought I could always trust Valenti's since I've always had amazing experiences at the mystic location. However, this time I cannot say the same. When I bought my car I thought I was getting a deal but instead my credit got run twice when I already had a loan set up. They assured me that wouldn't happen and that it was only going to be a soft inquiry clearly not the case. On top of that there's been issues with the car first it was the wiring in the tailgate randomly working on and off. Then with the rotors making a random grinding sound and after 3 visits there still no answers as to what the issue is. Now 2 months after the sunroof stopped working and on top of all that I just got issued an emissions testing when they told me the car was all set with testing and road ready. Never again.
