Perfect experience! I had 3 pairs of jeans that needed hemming. The price was great ($18 per pair to keep original hem, compared to another place at $25 per pair and couldn’t get me in for weeks) and the turnaround was fast. I came back to pick them up and they were ready on the date promised. Beautiful work too. I have absolutely no complaints about these, it’s like they came from the brand like this and she carefully matched the thread. Fast and professional work. Thank you so much!

I can’t say enough good things about Valeria’s! They were quick, professional, and affordable! I needed my bridesmaid dress taken in, and it came out perfect! They even had me come in before promised date to make sure everything fit okay/ needed any other revisions. Highly recommend them!!

I was told 3 weeks for alterations in a few items but when I went to pick up the day she told me the cloths would be done, they were not ready. Said she has been very busy. No apology. Then told me to return the next day and they would be ready by noon. When I returned she completed all but 2 items. Again no apology and i had to again go back for the last 2 items. I’m very upset with this place. I get married in 5 weeks. I made an appointment over the phone last week for 11am on Monday to have my wedding dress altered. Not only did I have an appointment, the door also says 10am open on Monday- I showed up at 10:45am, the lights were off and door locked. Myself and another customer tried calling with no luck. I waited in my car until 11:15am and multiple other customers showed up and left. No one ever showed up and opened the store.I understand stuff happens, but no sign on door, no call to apologize. I took my business somewhere else where she got me in right away that same day thankfully!

I had a very bad experience coming to this tailor. I gave them 2 shirts, each costing $100. The ask was to alter the length from the back and the front for both shirts and only alter the sleeve of one of the shirts. They ended up altering the sleeve of the one i asked not to touch, ruining it. Also they didn’t adjust the length from the back or the front, so they literally did what i asked them not to do and didn’t do what i asked for. I asked the person there if he did alter the sleeve he said yes, then i mentioned “but i asked not to alter the sleeve for this shirt” then telling me ”oh we didn’t do this one” after just clearly saying that they they did, lying straight to my face. They charged me $45 to ruin my expensive cloths. This will be the last time i go there and i advice everyone to stay away from this place.

Highly , highly , recommended . Lovely attentive professional staff . Expert tailoring . The icing on the cake ? I left westerly and was back in New York . Valeria's reached out to me repeatedly to remind me to pick up my alterations . I have never had that experience in New York . Very professional and very caring . These folks understand clothes . Recognized a problem with one of my dresses that i didn't see nor understand . Thank you !

The five pairs of new pants were hemmed and rolled up and placed in a brown shopping bag. When I got home I found them wrinkled like old rags. Will have to take them to cleaner for pressing!!!Service: Pants hemming

Went in with white pants for my rehearsal dinner to be tailored more to my leg. I was told they'd be 3 weeks... I explained it was for my wedding but she wouldn't budge. Customer service needs improvement as my fiancee found another tailor who did his sports jacket and pants for the rehearsal dinner after I went to here

My bridesmaid dress was butchered by another tailor. Being a new resident to westerly I had no where to go and was really just using the Internet as a reference… and I only had one week for the wedding. not only was I accommodated in such short notice but my dress was fixed perfectly.I was completely satisfied with the customer service and sense of urgency that I was given.Now I am coming back here for all of my future needs.Service: Alterations
