You are better off using a carrier pigeon. They will not pick up the phone. You have to call the tax assessors office so they can tell the tax collectors office to call you back...... ??

These people are awful. They never return your call, and then when you finally get someone on the phone, they are very unhelpful and snap at you with every question. Outrageous! I was trying to pay my tax bill. I have noticed this the other time or times I have called. Can't the Town of Westerly do better??
