On October 3 I return from vacation, next day wife give me money from small store we have sales to deposit,at 8:50 a.m. I went in side ATM put my card,pin put my money on the box, ATM take my money make a we're sound, return my card and guess what, my around $2,000. disappear, I hear someone behind the ATM,I stay there don't let nobody to use it, Them I saw banker Jaryd Fontes NMLS id# 2484595 came out that room behind ATM and open the bank, explain to him what happened, he looks at another worker there and then tell me it's nothing he can do about it, tell me that was a third party, call the number in the card so I walk to teller and deposit $500 I have in my pocket,I try 5 times claim that money and they keep saying nothing happened,now 3 months later and nothing,my money disappear.i have 5 letters there (this what they say We check and nothing happens) and let me be clear workers are excellent 1 ⭐ is for situation with the ATM ( workers ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐+)i hope this don't happen to anybody else is,I wonder if someone can help me with these,

Horrible customer service. I'm told to wait for a person to speak to me and after 10 or 15 minutes of waiting someone else walks right in the office ahead of me. No attempt made to tell the person to wait as I was ahead of them. Time to take my business elsewhere.

Ashley is the best bank teller I ever had at citizens. She is extremely efficient and smart and she handled my problem so quickly and she knows exactly what she's doing. Ashley, you're the best. Thank you for being so good at your job! You should be in charge of all the banks!

I've been with Citizens since 2011 and have had many problems with them. One is for online banking issues all the have are people from overseas who cannot speak English. Second is when I try to get to online banking it locks me out often. And there are other issues, including the new ATM card has a number that is for another business. These problems started about 5 years ago.

Disrespectful staff. 1st bank I’ve walked into where I was refused quarters because I wasn’t a member. Who would want to open a bank account with this bank??

I have no issues with the bank but to anyone using the drive up ATM at the Cumberland st branch in Woonsocket, please be careful! I was just approached by a guy while at the drive up ATM and he asked for money for his kids to get something to eat. I didn’t see any kids nor did I see where he came from but please use caution! I called that bank right away so they are aware of what happened to me but please be careful and aware of who is around you if you’re like me and have to open your door to reach the ATM!

I went there to cash a payroll check from Citizens Bank on 2-11-22 @ about 3pm. I told the teller I would like to cash a payroll check. She said ok. After signing it I was told there might be a $7 charge. I said if there is a charge never mind. She said I don't know if there is a charge until the end. Of course a $7 charge is warranted. I asked to speak with a manager. I explained that I already signed the check. He said I shouldn't have a problem with it. Well I remember the teller asking me if I would like to open an account. Honestly, there would be no charge if I did that. But, my old school soul says if they are screwing non-members. What do they do to members? I was bothered by this situation. I called a friend and asked him if he could do me a favor? He said WOW! I thought I would never see this day. I asked him to meet me at the garage. He said do I need the truck? I said yes and the trailer. To his excitement he said to take the car and go racing. I laughed and explained we are going to my great grandmothers to pick up 88 yrs worth of change to open an account. He laughed so hard! He said say no more, my wife and kids need to watch this. I said even better we can open a account for everyone. He said until the check clears. My boy read my mind!

I personally know the person that wanted to cash his payroll check. A $7 fee is nothing to him. It's the principal! Something many have forgotten. He is a miracle in every way. If they took the $7 he would have been short $2 for my medication. So he took the bus to his bank and back and still had enough to buy me a Valentine's Day card. But, a bank charging to cash there own check is absurd. Absolute greed!
