Called today to get a tech out to fix a no heat issue with my propane furnace. Within 30 minutes tech arrived and fixed the issue, Great customers service, I have been a long time customer of Consumers.

They were wonderful to work with for a while and then they started refusing to cash our checks. Extremely odd. We were forced to change companies and now they are refusing to pick up their tanks. Not sure what happened, very odd situation.

Elderly RI parent of 93 yrs ran out of oil. Parent called upon N S Rescue Senior Liaison for help, house cold. That liaison said this business DID DO auto pay……as he sat with owner on November 2.I had BEGGED them to start auto pay x 1 year…for my ELDERLY PARENT under my guidance as I had done with other utilities in order to keep parent in home comfortably. Every single woman in that office said THEY did NOT do auto pay….Tried to contact owner to verify and commence auto pay….NO CONTACT BACK.So beware for your elderly parents to get a company that ASSISTS you to assist your parents. And further….this company does CHARGE AN AVERAGE OF .45-.50:cents per gal of oil HIGHER than many other oil providers. Shop around. Your elderly parents lives may depend on not being out of oil this winter…Now ask yourself…..why would they now stop sending me copies of the bill so I could monitor my parent??? Very shady…
