The Savers family of stores is a for-profit, global thrift retailer offering great quality, gently used clothing, accessories and household goods. Their Rethink Reuse business model of purchasing, reselling and recycling gives communities a smart way to shop and keeps more than 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. Savers also helps over 100 nonprofit organizations by purchasing donated goods from them, providing revenue to support their vital community programs and services. The brand operates over 300 locations across the U.S., Australia, Canada, and Quebec, employing 22,000 people. Customers praise Savers for its wide selection, with one reviewer finding "the most unhinged things" and "surprisingly nice clothes" that require "really looking" to find. Another long-time shopper loves the store's leather jackets and shoes. However, some are disappointed by the increasing prices, feeling that "$15 for a used shirt is robbery" since the items are donated. Overall, Savers is described as the go-to thrift store, with certain locations, such as Providence, Attleboro, Warwick, and Woonsocket, being particularly popular and well-stocked. The donation process is also praised as "very quick and easy."
There's usually someone available to help you unload.
Sometimes there's hidden gems in the racks at a reasonable price for second hand merchandise.
And their profits help support big brother big sister of RI, which is nice.

My family have been shopping here over 17 years. I love going here and almost always find something nice. The leather jackets they get in the winter are usually a good price and in very good condition. I get a winter jacket here every other year. And I've gotten a ton of shoes here over the years.

Clean, good variety of stuff, pretty well organized. Better pricing than other thrifts.
