I have been duck/goose hunting in Saskatchewan for 20 years. We currently stay with Michele and Collin in Duck Lake. They are fantastic hosts and my group has found this place to be very comfortable. We are thankful for them and plan on staying here many years into the future.

This is the first time I have been to a retreat at Mami’s and it was perfect. Great food, great place to sleep and super place to see. I definitely will be back. If you ever want to be pampered, this is the place to come. Michele does a wonderful job of being a perfect hostess, thank you Michele and Colin.

I attended a quilt retreat in Duck Lake from November 8 to 10 and stayed at MiCo’s Hideaway for 2 nights. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There is a large open kitchen area where we enjoyed morning coffee and breakfasts. Colin and Michelle are great hosts. I highly recommend MiCo’s Hideaway to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast. We spent the days at Mami’s Quilts working on our projects. All our meals were included in the retreat and they were amazing. It was a wonderful 3 days of no worries. Just able to sew and visit with a great group of women.

Great place to stay, great hosts. They were very helpful and made us feel at home. I’ve traveled to hunt numerous places and this was one of the best accommodations I’ve ever been to.

This was my 3rd retreat at MaMi's and I enjoy it more every year! With lots of laughs, learning new techniques, trying to choose fabric from more than 8,000 bolts, the friendly and helpful staff and the wonderful meals provided, the time goes by way too fast. It was so great to be able to stay in Duck Lake this year at the new Mica's Hide-a-way. The beds are super comfortable and a great lounge to visit with everyone in the evening. No more driving twice a day back and forth to Warman, which means more time for sewing! I'm looking forward to next year's retreat.

After visiting their booth at Quilt Canada in Vancouver, I promised myself I would visit the brick and mortar store next time I visited Saskatchewan. After consulting Google Maps and finding the shop was only about half an hour from where I was staying, we set out on an adventure.Arriving in Duck Lake, we pulled up to a very unprepossessing building. However, once we walked in...wow.This store is amazing. After wandering and finding many nooks and crannies filled with pretty much anything a quilter would want or need, I purchased a kit and a some yardage. (To go with what I bought at Quilt Canada!) While I was wandering, the team member was very helpfully trying to find some licensed fabric for me and was most apologetic when she could not find any for me.I also noticed a classroom and many samples of projects that I would love to be able to do. While I would love to be able to take classes there, distance and timing would make it difficult. However, there a videos available to help you work your way through projects.They offer mail order service and will communicate via Messenger. They also offer beautiful long arming.Will I do an in person visit again? Most definitely. Will I have them on my list of go to shops when I need something? Yes!If you’re ever around Saskatoon, take the time to make a trip north to Duck Lake!

I love this store, they have a great inventory and a very cool and helpful staff.we have also taken a few courses here and Michelle is a wonderful teacher the meals are awesome. Michelle also has the long arm to do your quilting needs with lots of patteren to choose from .I highly recommend you stop and see what Mamis quilt shop can offer you ❤️
