“Ice cold beer and friendly staff. The prices are not better than the SLGA though. Since all this privatization happened, the employees are not earning as good of a living as they used to working for the SLGA, and I don’t see prices anywhere as cheap as they are in the U.S. I got a feeling the money is flowing out of province.”

“Dropped by the store this morning to buy a special bottle of Scotch for a friend's milestone birthday My good fortune to see Val walking by and called her over Even though she was in on her day off she complied What a wonderful experience Val has a wealth of knowledge on Scotch whiskey which she shared so kindly and willingly
We ended up with 3 great options at our price point and when I mentioned a cigar was to be included Val immediately pointed to the one that would compliment the cigar taste
We then went to the Cigar Vault where Val again offered her advice
We left the store with what we believe will be a great gift

“Amazing store with an incredible selection of hard to find items! They have been so helpful on various occasions in bringing in some specialty items I could not find elsewhere. And the best part is I don't have to buy the entire case!!
Also attended one of their events this past year and it was so much fun! The sommelier was excellent in his lesson and the snack pairings!”

“The Ice House Liquor store is awesome- if they don't have something you want, just ask and they will bring it in for you. I found a beer I like from a small microbrewery in BC. I asked if they could bring me in some and they got it for me. We found a tequila we liked in Florida- same thing, they got some for me and now carry it as regular stock.”
