“The Ice House Liquor store is awesome- if they don't have something you want, just ask and they will bring it in for you. I found a beer I like from a small microbrewery in BC. I asked if they could bring me in some and they got it for me. We found a tequila we liked in Florida- same thing, they got some for me and now carry it as regular stock.”

“Probably some of the most competitive prices along with the best selection of product make Urban Cellars a go-to destination. They have monthly exclusive wines and a weekly 10% on undiscounted wine stock which makes it all the more appealing to browse. The only thing I'd suggest is a more knowledgeable staff or sommelier on the floor at given points to help assist with recommendations or fulfilling wants/needs.Also can't forget the free bag of ice with a purchase over $30 (I think?). That in itself is a reason to stock up at Urban Cellars.”
“Metro liquor staff go above and beyond for their customers! In addition to the great day-to-day service they provide…My husband and I arrived home after a vacation with so many bumps we can’t even count. After arriving home, we were excited to have a drink and not go anywhere…but our liquor cabinet was getting low. One employee helped us get an order delivered to our house when we were struggling to place the order online.After dealing with airline companies and other issues it was SO nice to have someone go above and beyond and show care for their customers!”

“Ice cold beer and friendly staff. The prices are not better than the SLGA though. Since all this privatization happened, the employees are not earning as good of a living as they used to working for the SLGA, and I don’t see prices anywhere as cheap as they are in the U.S. I got a feeling the money is flowing out of province.”
