About Last Mountain Regional Park
Last Mountain Lake Regional Park is a lovely and clean destination, offering a reasonably quiet atmosphere. The park features a boat launch that is clean and easy to access, making it ideal for those who enjoy paddling on the lake. The campground has well-maintained washroom facilities with showers near the lake and clean port-a-potties stocked with hand sanitizer. However, the unserviced tenting area lacks trees, with many sites occupied by glampers, leading to a less natural experience. Campers may hear the noise of air conditioning units and see solar or string lights, which detracts from the peacefulness of nature. For families, the park provides a pool, a concession, and a lovely beach/swimming area. Although the staff is friendly and the fishing is enjoyable, visitors seeking a true back-to-nature camping experience may want to consider other options. Overall, Last Mountain Lake Regional Park is a great spot for boating and family fun, but may not meet the needs of those looking for a more rustic camping experience.
