For a hotel located in a Dark Sky Preserve, they really should remove their spot lights outside.
Restaurant food was mediocre (Salmon, and Chicken Parmesan). They should consider adding a breakfast. The Lakeview Grill nearby was incredible (Mac n Cheese burger, cheese burger, fish n chips, fries were amazing).

Old TVs and air conditioner. Other than that good place to stay.

State Overnight at the Cypress Hills Resort for one night while my kids and I went ziplining. We stayed one night at the hotel it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The internet was not that great so the Wi-Fi would kind of work kind of not work. Also the staff there was no staff in the evenings. I would stay here again though it was very nice the views were beautiful the room was comfortable clean overall a nice stay.
Nearby activities: Treeosix zipline was right next door to the hotel so it was very easy just to walk over to do a zip lining tour

Townhouses are needing a deep clean and updating.
Couches have been there for at least 15 years and are very very grubby. In-between bunk bed and wall was absolutely gross.
They are poorly stocked, so only plan on making very simple meals, or ensure you bring a decent frying pan, tongs, microwavable bowls.
Staff all friendly and helpful. Ivan's restaurant was delicious.
There was a convention or wedding go
ing on, all parking was taken. It would go a long way to have designated parking for townhouses or hotel guests.
We always enjoy our time in Cypress very much, just a deep clean and some more updates would go a long ways.
Walkability: Cypress is known for hills and trails. Be ready to walk!
Food & drinks: Ivan's - was busy! Make a reservation. Meals were all excellent
Visitor Centre - stopped for a mid day snack. Food was good - very few drinks to choose from and there are no dessert options.
Ice cream - always delicious

Cabins are starting to show age for the price. Looks like new decks were made. Fire ban so thats too bad. Beautiful lake. Great price for e bike rentals. Had a great time. Appliances worked well.

So beautiful at Cypress. The Resort has a good choice of accommodations with hotel rooms, cabins and townhouses. The cabins don't have AC and it was very hot, but the hotel rooms do. The fan in our room was very weak though. Lots to do in the area for families.
Rooms: Nice rooms, clean and good amenity, but weak fan for the AC.

I will not stay here again, the staff is terrible and one of the managers is arrogant. We had an issue with something malfunctioning in the suite we stayed in, and they claimed we’d be compensated. Then, they ignored us for days not getting back to us, then went back on their word. I was interrogated on the phone about the malfunction as if it was my fault. Also, the restaurant here claimed to have gluten free items on the menu which was totally mislabelled so someone with celiac disease could get sick eating here.

It’s in a nice area of the forest. However, a few concerns with this place.
- Showed up and our cabin smelled like cigarettes. We had to air it out, and it still smells musty.
- Your cabin is NOT serviced, and they expect you to do the dishes, with a somewhat hidden sign about a $50 charge if we don’t wash them ourselves.
- Pets aren’t allowed on the furniture, but the hotel is pet friendly. Honey, this furniture is nothing special. You’re telling me I have to tell my dog to stay on the filthy low pile carpet floor while we’re here? Whatever.
Overall would NOT recommend in the slightest. Not worth the drive or especially the cost.

Great resort lots of amenities and the restaurant serves really good food. This is a gem of the cypress hills. Only problem I found is that the rooms don't have a lot of outlets. But still this park is too beautiful to spend all your time in the room.
