I am no longer interested in shopping here, which is unfortunate, because it used to be my first stop in Meadow Lake and I have found No Frills very good in other locations. I have had poor experiences with purchasing produce here. Often it has turned, starting to rot or is limp and wilted, even when it is NOT on sale. I have picked up bags of apples that are dripping because they have spoiled. I know there is not much competition for grocery places in Meadow, but it would be smart of No Frills to improve this immediately so people aren't forced to shop at other places. Given I travel into Meadow to shop, I would rather go elsewhere and spend a bit more for quality than less on food that's already spoiled or will shortly after I get home.

Very disappointed with our shopping experience this morning. The staff on the checkout were more interested in their conversation than dealing with the customer... that in itself is unacceptable. To have the conversation in another language in front of the customer is just downright rude! Not a happy customer today!

No clothes, always short of baby stuff, no fresh chicken, they are also pandemic pricing us. Also can’t get through to the main phone line. Always being transferred to Montreal and being put on wait for 45 mins.

Prior to no frills opening in meadow lake the extra foods store was basically a one stop shopping outlet. As there is no larger box stores this was really welcome. There was a large selection of seasonal decorations and furniture. Cards a large pharmacy section with good selection of all hygiene products as well as hair dye etc fresh bakery buns fresh deli pizzas all at reasonable prices. The northern communities would make their monthly trips to town and load up 2-3 carts full of goods to take back home. The hardware stores and variety stores in town fill part of the need. However now I am finding the selection quite poor and I am being forced to order online or make 2-3 stops to get what I need. As I live out of town and make it in once every week or two this makes for a very long day. The store is bright clean and lots of coolers but I am finding it more and more disappointing.

The new store takes some getting used to. The prices are pretty good, but you can still price check between the stores and find some things cheaper somewhere else. The new atmosphere is very industrial and not as friendly feeling as before. The selection is definitely way less than when it was Extra Foods.

It's ok so far. Definitely some things I miss from Extra foods. Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce! C'mon! Best in Canada and stopped carrying it. I'm sure they'll get it back soon.

This is a fully renovated NoFrills. Lots of deals for everyone. The aisles are nice and wide for shopping ease. The shelves are fully stocked and look amazing. There seems to be everything you need to fill your grocery list. Parking and access are easy. Don't forget the pharmacy.

Nothing for lactose intolerant people. No baskets for shopping. Store is a mess. Can't find anything. I would rather go to the more expensive store in town where they offer free buggies and good baskets and are more organized.
