It is a nice facility, and from doing a drop in the community seems great. Having done 8 years of crossfit previously and wanting to move over from a different affiliate I had questioned the need for mandatory personal 1 on 1 training sessions that were for an additional cost. At this point owner became somewhat abrasive and turned me away. Crossfit membership fees are also the highest in the province. Limited class times.

CrossFit 161 is one of the most unique gyms I have had the pleasure of working out at. They adapt each and every workout to suit every age group and fitness level. Each coach is skilled and there to help with any questions you may have. I would recommend CrossFit 161 to all my friends and family!

I love going to crossfit, the people feel like my family, the coaches are excellent they are very skilled and intelligent. I feel comfortable and confident as myself and it's a welcoming place for all people. Crossfit is the perfect place for me to unwinde. The coaches help with corrections, for maximum results and safety.

Crossfit 161 is a top notch facility that coaches everyone to succeed. From the beginner to the experienced person, everyone is welcomed into the community and given the best instruction from all coaches. We work hard but laugh often!

5 years at CF 161 and it has been the best decision my husband and I have made in our fitness journey. The coaches care about you and want you to be a stronger version of yourself. A fantastic community to belong to. We have made lifelong friends. We enjoy a place we can laugh, play, and work hard.

Regardless of where you are in your fitness journey you will feel welcome immediately. Here you will find excellent coaches, a great sense of community and always an encouraging word. Physical limitations are accomodated as well and workouts are geared to what you can do. I highly recommend CrossFit 161!

I only have good things to say about this gym. As someone who was not familiar with Cross-fit, the coaches were so easy to train with and such great teachers.It is a "fun" training environment, the coaches always break the ice with a "question of the day". I highly recommend this gym.

By far the best place to go for your fitness needs no matter what level you are at. Coaches get to know each and everyone’s fitness level and scale or push you appropriately to your needs and abilities. Quality is KEY! Great community of support to keep you motivated!
