We’ve been stopping at this flying J as our stop between Weyburn and Swift Current ever since it opened. Had a bad experience for the first time. Bought drinks and ordered food only to find that they messed up my Sons order of corn dogs. Instead they put in some pigs in a blanket/hot dog things. No problem, I quickly ran in to let them know that they messed up. It’s easy to make mistakes. She said she heard “hot dog” and not corn dog. Unfortunately, due to company policy, they could not correct the order because it had been paid for and left the store for a total of 60 seconds. If we wanted to get my son corn dogs, we would need to order again and pay again. So, it cost us $12 for 2 corn dogs. I don’t understand. When food has been sitting there for too long, they won’t sell it but if they mistakenly pack the wrong foods in an order, the customer is out of luck. I’m just so disappointed in this poor customer service as I’ve always thought this was a great place before. Either the employee lied or the company has a terrible policy. You would have thought that with the $42 we spent on food and drinks, they could have at least exchanged and given us the 2 measly corn dogs we ordered and still have made plenty of money off of us. I’ve never really had to do this before so maybe this is normal but I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore based on this experience.
