The Paved2Pines team exceeded my expectations - I went out to meet the team in person before starting my build and found them to be professional and kind people - they were transparent about the process and kept me in the loop as decisions were made as the build progressed - I love the van they built for me and my dog Cocoa - Thank you P2P

From the initial conversations with Mitch, to the engineering/design meetings with Lorry, to the last handoff meeting with Steven, Christian, and Guy - the build process was an excellent experience. The P2P team took the time to understand our use case and built a high quality van that exceeded our expectations. After travelling in it for two months/6,000+ km, I can say their attention to detail and build quality will live up for many years to come. We had a couple of questions after pickup and they were top notch in terms of responsiveness and care.
If you are looking for a Canadian custom van builder that CAN handle all four seasons (we tested this in Saskatchewan in -20C in January) they are the team you should contact. Thank you to the whole team!!!

I reached out to Paved to Pines a little over a year ago. I received a message back for a quick call and talked with Mitch off an on for about a month discussing my partner and I's plans and goals for the van and we slowly made the decision to use Paved to Pines to do our van conversion. Over the next few months we worked with Mitch and other members of the team to come up with the perfect layout. Throughout this process we learned more of what was possible and we worked with Paved to Pines to find solutions and ways to make our layout become a reality. We had found when talking with other conversion company's that they would not support the layout we had hoped for, but Paved to Pines put in the effort to make it a reality. Once everything was locked in we started the build process. We dropped the van off in the winter and picked it up six months later completely done and ready to travel. During this time there was weekly updates along with a description of what had been done the prior week as well as some pictures that showed it. Because of this we were able to see how things were progressing as well as it just made us more excited. Once the van was completed we met the team in person for the first time at their warehouse. There we learned how the van functioned and got a very thorough walk through all of the systems. In addition to the walk through we were also given a binder that contained the van's manual. After this we were off to drive the 2000 miles home. During our trip the team was available to answer any questions as well as trouble shoot anything that may have come up, luckily nothing came up and the van has been solid since. We've put another 1000 miles on the van since getting home and everything is functioning just as it did the first night. We'd highly recommend Paved to Pines for a conversion and working with the team has been great and continues to be great.

Paved to pines is a great company to work with. I have Sprinter 170 - Mitch and his team worked with me on a total custom project. They installed the interior insulation, windows, flooring, walls and ceiling including all wiring. The workmanship and attention to detail is very high quality. If you are thinking about a project like this I would highly recommend P2P - Mitch and the entire team are really great to work with.

Mid way through the Pandemic, I decided that I wanted to check out of the rat race and live out my dream of driving from Toronto, Canada to Patagonia, Argentina (and back). I looked at hundreds of vans online and checked out at least two dozen in person until i found this van sitting in a lot in Alberta, two provinces over. Right away, I knew that this was the one for me! You could tell just looking at the pictures that this was a quality build and that much thought and effort had been put into its design and construction. I immediately put down a $5,000 deposit, bought a plane ticket to Edmonton and the rest, as they say, is history. After 14 months and 20,000km (and counting ?), here are the top three things that I love about this van…Quality: I’ve driven over miles of unpaved Guatemalan roads, taken the van to remote locations where it had no business going (i.e. there were no actual roads), hit countless topes (Mexican speedbumps) at high speed and yet, everything in the van still functions as it did on day one. The countertops are still level, the cabinet doors are flush, the drawers slide in and out with ease, there are no leaks in the roof or the plumbing and amazingly, nothing squeaks!Layout: Cramming a bathroom, a full kitchen, a toilet, a shower, a bed, a lounge and an office space into 459 cu. ft. of space is no small challenge. But to make it comfortable, spacious, functional and aesthetically pleasing… well, that takes some serious design skill! The folks at Paved to Pines nailed it! ? You would be forgiven for thinking i’m biased but, honestly, i’m not the only one who feels this way! Every time I pull into a new campground or RV park I’m continually inundated with compliments by fellow VanLifers and believe me, they're a tough crowd to pelase! ?Service: I’m not mechanically inclined and i’m sort of new to the whole vanlife thing so I ask a lot of dumb questions. How do you change out the water filter? If I install a dimmer switch, will it work with the LED lights in the main galley? How do you adjust the water pump shut-off pressure when you travel to higher altitudes? No matter how big or small the question, the crew at Paved to Pines is always willing to take the time out of their busy schedules to help me find a solution to my problem. High quality builders will stand by their products and make you feel like you’re part of their family while cheap volume dealers will shift the blame and make you feel as if you’re on your own. There are, of course, so many other things that I love about this build and honestly, i could go on and on for hours. If you wanna know more, hit me up and let's chat! In the meantime, trust me when I say that you won’t regret your decision to partner with the folks at Paved to Pines on your dream build.Wishing you all the best with your journey through this wonderful Life!Khoi

Just went through some preliminary planning with Mitch at Paved to Pines and have been thoroughly impressed with his love and dedication for their work. He has the knowledge and experience to work with a client to create a customized plan that works for you. He also happens to be a very pleasant and unpretentious human to communicate with. He spent a couple hours on a video chat with me and was super patient going through the broad plan as well as the nitty gritty details. Highly recommend.

The crew at Paved to Pines did an excellent job installing a diesel heater in my campervan. Although they normally don’t do small projects like that, they were super accommodating with me. Especially since it wasn’t a van they had converted and it wasn’t a brand name heater. Thanks to the team I’ll be warm and cozy this winter.

Mitch was very helpful and although I was asking for something that they don't normally do he still made me feel like a priority. Even had to rush order parts after a miscommunication and arrange pickup after hours. Very accommodating!

After months of communication and trouble shooting we finally picked up our van and we couldn't be happier with both the camper and our experience with Pave to Pines. Our main contact person Mitch was responsive, helpful, and simply great to work with. He not only facilitated the sale between us and the previous owner, he also listened to our concerns and problem solved with us. Though our camper was not a new build (in fact I was told our camper was one of their first conversions!), I have no doubt that you will enjoy the quality of their workmanship and services!!

As a DIY Van Converter there have been challenges finding information I need on line to make informed decisions. After a frustrating search for seats a trail of web sites lead me to Paved To Pines. It was a thrill to see a Canadian referred to as an up-fitter partner by international manufacturers. I completed a form and booked a consultation not knowing what to expect. But could not have been happier !! Mitch was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and a great communicator. In a matter of minutes he got me on the right track. Unfortunately he couldn't help me directly, but rather than try and sell me something anyway he directed me to the help I needed. I am very pleased with the service I received and I'm comfortable recommending Paved To Pines to anyone looking for van or bus conversion. Dave
