I was injured and they don't care!
on 19 October 2024, I opened the door of the store in the gas station and the door was halfway open when something hit my eye and injured my cornea! I was bleeding and crying on the floor from pain and thought I was blinded. But the guy in the store first served 2 customers, then called someone, talked in a language I didn't understand, and finally called 911. During this time I was on the floor of the store on my knees!!!
I contacted them so many times and they just said they checked everything and the store was safe and it is probably my fault but they rejected all my requests to send the videos of the front camera that show what exactly happened.
They even refused to pay the EMS fees for what happened in their store because of their fault.
Something hit my eye inside the bowl of my eye and did not even scratch my forehead or cheekbone and it cannot be just the door that hits my face.
If I was 3 millimeters taller I was blind now! Imagine what happened if someone was holding a baby and that thing hit the baby!!!
I attached one of the least sensitive images to show hitting the door cannot cause this damage to someone's eye.

Service is less than mediocre at best. 2/5 times I'm here there's no staff to be found anywhere, or their doors are just outright locked during peak business hours. Of I was a their I'd have a hayday. Also they're NEVER OPEN ON TIME. I am speechless. Third month since first review, nothing has changed with staff inconsistency or how they give zero f√cks.

This particular ESSO is where I usually get gas for both my personal vehicles as well as my work trucks. It is a convenient, downtown location while also being only two blocks from where I live. Generally the service is very good but I have encountered a locked front door, on a number of visits, during regular business hours.

This station had it all.. until they didn’t have lids. I went in to drain my bloated dragon and get a nice cup of coffee. I filled my cup and went to close when suddenly I was indisposed. I asked the lovely gentleman where I may find a lid in this establishment and he merely shrugged in a passivity that made me doubt my activity. I paid and was on my way but still did ponder this brilliantily passivity that deserves 3 stars on googles ambivertery.
