HORRIBLE.
(UPDATE: after 2 emails and this review, they refunded me. After explaining my situation again to a staff member that I believe goes by Shelby, she agreed that I shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. Hats of to her.. I am raising my 1 star to 3 stars based on the refund; however I would still not be a customer here in the future.)
I dropped my vehicle off for an alignment after installing new struts.
An hour after drop off, I received a call saying how “they didn’t book enough time to do my alignment” and how next time I should call in and “book a bigger alignment”.. yes, I wish I was kidding.. after going back and fourth over the phone for what seemed like eternity, they finally agreed to do what I came in for. However right before closing, they called back and told me that I installed the wrong struts in my vehicle. (This is a lie. I know this because I’ve installed the exact same struts in my other vehicle, that happened to be the exact same year and make.. yes I have 2 of the same vehicles… the serial number to both products matched. How would I have even driven to the shop if it was the incorrect strut?!)
Upon receiving my vehicle, they forced me to pay $88 under the product code (diagnose customer concern).. they did not do my alignment NOR attempt too, which makes this charge super questionable. As I inquired about the charge, the worker raised his voice and got visibly aggregated that I questioned what I was paying for.. as I didn’t want to escalade the situation infront of customers, I paid and left.
Upon inspecting my vehicle, it was made clear that they didn’t even attempt to adjust my alignment before giving the sorry excuse of my struts being “incorrect”… there was no attempt in adjusting anything. I didn’t see any penetrating fluid or any changes from when I was under the vehicle last. it’s clear to see that they tried to squeeze my appointment into their day when they couldn’t handle it..
As soon as I took the car home, I did an alignment MYSELF in the garage, and all was well. It’s quite embarrassing not book enough time for a service. Even more embarrassing that the techs couldn’t do such a simple task (assuming they weren’t lying in the first place about not being able to do them)
I would like my $88 back, as it was a useless charge that is just unjustified
I would recommend going ANYWHERE else… Microtune did the exact same job after the exact same work with NO ISSUES.. fountain tire also did alignments on probably 5+ of my cars with no issues. I’m beyond disappointed

Had to get a tire fixed, called ahead and could get in until 9. Needed new tire, gave recommendations and went ahead and got the tire needed. Be back later to get the rest replaced. Highly recommended!

These guys are awesome! Not only did they get me a new set of tires on less than a day of notice, but also had them installed and aligned in under an hour! I will absolutely be coming back here!

Mark and Annie earned a customer for life after going so far above and beyond for our family today.
Mark drove to a closed kaltire warehouse on his day off to get us the right tires for our bus.
What a legend!

The mechanic there tried to scam me. I had to do an out of vehicle inspection. I had regular maintenance done on my vehicle before coming to Saskatchewan and did not drive it often. I also had my car shipped into Saskatchewan by train. I was told that a number of repairs were needed to clear my vehicle totalling $2500. The most puzzling one was a control arm that is rubbing and needed to be changed. For the rubbing control arm, my car was handling perfectly fine and there were no sign of that. I took my car for a second opinion to Triple 7. While they did spot some necessairy repairs and billed me at $1200 there was no mention of a rubbing control arm as I suspected. The mechnic at this kal tire engages in predatory practices on their customers. Newcomers beware.

I brought my car in as a traveler with urgent concerns. They took us in quickly to help diagnose the problem. They weren't able to fix it, but I'm very grateful for the information, the availability of the staff, and information about who can do the work. Staff were friendly and honest. Thanks for helping us in a tight spot!

Best service! I broke down traveling through Regina, nobody could fit me in. Rene called back2 min later, said she would squeeze me in. Then turns out, no available replacement parts in city, so she found a used part, so she called me, told me my options. Got the used part, and back on the road few hours later. Best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Definitely will be my first choice in future.

I had a good expierence with them and they were pleasant to work with, although the person working the front desk did seem to be over everything but I understand that having worked in customer service, sometimes you're not always bright and cheerful.
I had gotten a screw or bolt in my tire that caused a very small leak. I called them at 8:30am on a Sunday, one of the only shops in town that was open and they fit me in for 11am. I got there at 10:50 and they got my car in immediately.
I had an issue with my car alarm going off and one of the things that causes it is a dying battery so I asked when he lowered my vehicle after repairing the tire if he could just check the battery voltage to see if it was dying as my voltage meter is broken and he ran a whole battery test, gave me the report for it and didn't charge me for anything extra.
The only negative is that it took about an hour for them to repair the tire. I wasn't expecting it to be that long but that could also be because they may have been busy or I just didn't realize it takes that long.
Overall good expierence.

Will order tires for you but won't let you know they haven't shown up yet till after you've taken time off work and show up for the apt. Would have loved a phone call for rebooking instead of just being told that "we don't have your tires" no solutions to fix the issue. Don't waste your time if they don't have the tires you need in stock

On 3/25/2024 kaltire at 635 University park drive replaced the two frount tires of my 2013 mazda CX-5.
The old tire size was 225/65R17, the tires they put on my vehicle were 225/55R17, these wrong tire were about 2 inches smaller in diameter.
This caused my vehicle to sense the frount tires were turning faster than the rear tires, and caused the the vehicle to turn on its antiswerve fuction, as well as the 4wd function. I diagnosed this problem after driving about 40 miles, then drove back 40 miles to get them to put on the correct tires the next morning.
IF THIS HAS CAUSED ANY DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE AT THIS TIME IS UNKNOWN
