This is a great pet store. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is always something on sale, and the dog bathing area is clean and well stocked with sudsy supplies.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. My partner and dog came in at 8:15 pm to use the SELF SERVE dog washing station; as my 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy was exposed to cigarette smoke this evening and REAKS. For context we drove 8 hours from Calgary today, and have another 8 hour drive tomorrow to see our family for the holidays who are meeting our puppy for the first time. Hopefully a respectful pet service company would understand how important that is, let alone during an extremely stressful time of year. In addition to the weather conditions making it even more stressful.
Now to what type of service he received tonight. He walked in, and was greeted by the person working and explained the situation. He was met with multiple sighs saying that it was a slow night GIVEN THE WEATHER and she had already “closed” the pet washing station. Which we made sure was open prior to braving these conditions YET AGAIN.
He continued to explain how much it would mean to be able to clean him up; and how he would ensure to not make a huge mess and clean up after himself, which again was met with a heavy sigh and her saying, well I’m alone and I can’t “supervise” the pet washing station and the till. Her solution was to offer him a leave in 2-in-1 foam, as it “works on her cat”.
I’m disgusted with this experience and will make sure I never support Pet Value again.

I've always enjoyed going to PetValu as it's small and welcoming and not overwhelming. Recently, I needed to switch my cats food to a limited ingredient brand, and immediately, the staff was able to point me in the right direction. They were very knowledgeable and helpful.

We went for the self-serve dog bath. They have 2 stations, all shampoo, towels, and treats for your furry friend! It also has a dryer but we didn't use it. Will go back!
