Absolutely worst bank to deal with managers are so rude and unhelpful. Customers for 8 years and regretting. More than 2 mnths still cannot solve issue and not even helping or showing me way to solve it

I chose to ignore the other reviews. Everyone was correct. 2 simple transactions a cheque for each account. Somehow, she put the wrong cheque in each account and had to reverse it..2 different accounts I did each transaction separately?. Not a busy bank now, I can see why going bank to the east location.

Don't use the drive thru ATM at this location EVER.
Several times I have gone there and it has been out of service, but the last time I went there and tried to use it to make a deposit it ended up counting the bills incorrectly, spitting them out again all except for a twenty and a fifty dollar bill which it then proceeded to take from me and eat into the machine. It then said "This machine is out of service". I had to track down a way to call the branch directly because without an extension of someone you cannot reach the branch directly, then twice they called me back trying to verify what I lost and it has been a bit of a fiasco to get credited the money back to my account. It has now been 67 hours (3 days) that I've been waiting to get my money back and there is an hour left until it is 5pm Friday so i'm likely going to be waiting until Monday now at the earliest to get the money back the robot stole from me.
Just a pain in the behind that absolutely no one needs.... this machine always seems to have some kind of issue and yet the branch continues to use it without replacing it.
So just stay away. No one needs this inconvenience!

Absolutely the WORST service, lack of staff, wait time was over 30min with only one teller … many people in line…. Horrible experience.

There is nobody such as teller until 9.38 am even not a single person
They told me come back at 10.30

I came for increasing credit limit I have no idea what has the he done my credit score got lower and I did not receive the email confirmation for increased credit limit. I am telling you to fire him please

Went during business hours and they had closed all their ATMs and they had a long line for tellers. Why would a bank close their ATMs !?

This bank doesn’t know the meaning of Customer Service. It doesn’t recognize customer loyalty and only has its own interests in mind in every transaction and policy. Why would they hold a certified check for 5 business days??? A certified check (or bank draft) is guaranteed by the bank that issues it. You PAY for that guarantee but Scotiabank makes their own rules and really doesn’t care what position that decision puts their long term customer in. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about using Scotiabank to think again and find a bank that cares about you. SB doesn’t!!!!!
I would like to give a 0 but can’t. Will be changing banks.
They used to send me a survey after a customer experience but I always gave low scores. Rather than contact me to see how they could improve they just quit sending surveys.

ATMs at this specific location never work for me. The inside one is slightly better than the drive through, but if you're a Tangerine customer, you can't get in after 7pm as you need a Scotia card to unlock the door. So frustrating I don't even bother with this location anymore.

Scotia Bank in general provides terrible customer service. This specific location regularly doesn’t have working ATMs. Can’t wait to switch bank.
