Horrible customer service. Took my two daughters here for manicures with shellac. They told my daughters they could only choose ONE COLOUR, and they asked for gems or charms and were told no. I find that appalling as a paying customer. They wanted to do 2 different colours and the man and woman doing their nails told them no and no gems. I will never return here and will also be telling my friends and family what kind of services they have. Never again. They also messed up on my pedicure. Horrible services.

Worst experience EVER! I’ve gotten my nails done for years and this was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. First I walk in, this lady literally rushes to first grind down my nails. I didn’t even ask to have my nails trimmed. Didn’t ask what I wanted, CUT THEM SO ROUGH. I had to pull back my hands because she was going so rough. No cuticle treatment, no nothing, just went straight to putting on tips with SUPER GLUE. I had to ASK to have my cuticle cut, and she didn’t even do anything else.she rushed everything so bad. I had to FIGHT HER to even out my nails. I had to TAKE THE NAIL GRIND TO EVEN IT OUT MYSELF. She literally faught me when I asked for a different colour. Everything very unsanitary. She made my cuticle bleed so I’m actually scared I might catch something. Please DO NOT GO HERE.

Got a manicure: polish and polka dots, was $15 more expensive than marketed. Location was very overbooked, even though we made an appointment for 2pm. They had us sitting in the pedicure chairs (no room for us at manicure tables). Disappointing overall. Also, friend got exact same service and design- was $7 less than mine. Confused.

Completely unprofessional. She answered her phone twice and was more focused on her phone call WHILE filing and filling my nails. She was distracted. My nails are NOT the shape I wanted, she dulled them when I wanted them sharper. She was filing my nails while talking to whoever on her phone and looking at her phone so I just up and left. My nails aren’t even finished.

I remember coming here 5 years ago for the first time when they opened and really liked the experience. I rarely get my nails done so it feels like a treat when i get to do so. Last month, I finally came back, got mani/pedi. I noticed how rough they were with the cuticles and nicked one toe and one finger. Thought it could've been a one off thing, it didn't bleed much so I left as is and trusted they will be gentler next time. Came back over a month later for acrylics. While removing my cuticles, the nail tech would not stop conversing with another tech beside her (I have no problems with this as long as it doesn't distract them from work), but lo and behold, nicked two of my fingers. Tech laughed uncomfortably and said sorry, then proceeded to act like it was a normal thing (its not!). I'm not confrontational so I said its ok. However, she did not initiate to offer me anything to address the bleeding (handwash, tissue, band-aid, or alcohol wipes). I had to ask her to wipe my fingers. The fingers bled on and off all throughout the appointment. I would tell her to wipe it but she would wait for it to pool before doing so. Eventually, I asked to wash my hands cz these nicks can get infected if not washed right away, and seeing there were filed particles on it, I knew I had to. I felt very sad and disappointed. While paying at the front, I had to grab tissue to wipe my still bleeding fingers. I didn't get offered any discount and still no band-aid. I sat there with tissue wrapped around my fingers trying so hard not to look miserable lol. They could get their techs to be more gentler with the cuticles to prevent these situations as it should not be a normal occurrence (I saw past complaints about the same thing). Don't get me wrong, the nails are pretty, but at what cost?

I called and made an appointment for my daughter’s grad nails. When she got there, they had to clear off a workstation that was used for storage as all of the regular tables were full. They didn’t have a tech available to do her nails, so 3 different people worked on her nails between their other clients. She wasn’t offered water even though every other person was. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I visited Top Nails & Spa recently and I am appalled at the unsanitary practices. The employees carry around a plastic box from client to client. In it are drill bits, cuticle cutters and cuticle pushers that they DO NOT sanitize between clients.
The lady that did my pedicure was preparing to start my toe nails and she set USED cuticle cutters down on the towel in front of me THAT STILL HAD THE SKIN OF THE PREVIOUS CLIENT ON IT!!!!
I had to ask 3 times for new cuticle cutters, because they didn't understand what I was asking at first. Eventually, she grabbed some new ones from the back and proceeded to use new ones on me.
For your health and safety, do not go here.

Literally first day of my 14 day vacation my toenail polish peeled off. By the end of the trip I only had two nails still on. This was not due to water exposure or sand, as the nail peeling off prior to me getting to the beach or being in the water. This is my second terrible experience, I’m not sure if something is wrong with their polish or if they’re not drying the nails enough after soaking them. But there’s no way a pedicure that cost as much money should last two days. I’m very disappointed.

I knew they had what I was asking for because I did my research and looked at their pictures online and they still tell me they don’t have straight tips or ANY nude Nail polish for French tips? Absolute lie about the nude nail polish when before I walked out, I made sure to see if there were any other people in that salon with French tips and they had the right nude I was asking for. She wouldn’t even go look for it me. They were so rude about it too! On top of that, they were so bubbly and lumpy, you’d think she was doing it on purpose now. I didn’t even let her paint my nails with that orange nude she was going to use on me, I literally had to leave and I went To Anna‘s nails and now they always do me right. I’ve tried SO many places in the city this is one of my worst experiences.

I called to book an appointment for Pedicure and the lady who spoke to me was extremely rude in her tone and disinterested to take the appointment. Her voice, tone and reply was blunt, rude and abrupt and she was just focused on cutting my call. So I decided not to book the appointment. The rude customer care behavior was evident from the phone call itself. Useless place.

I can confidently say I don’t recommend this place to anyone. This experience was the last straw for me.
I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this salon, but yesterday was particularly frustrating. I booked an appointment for 3:30 PM, but they called later, asking me to come at 4 PM instead. I agreed, but emphasized that I needed to be done within an hour to take my daughter to her class. They assured me it wouldn’t be an issue.
When I arrived, time dragged on, and by 5 PM, I told the technician, Thomas, that I needed to leave to pick up my daughter. He told me to go ahead and come back afterward. I returned, requested ombre for my nails, but he was unable . I asked for a simple French manicure instead, hoping it would be quick and easy. Unfortunately, Thomas did the worst job I’ve ever seen. After an hour and a half, my nails were uneven—some were short, and others were long.
I was in a rush, so I didn’t say anything at the time and left. However, the next day, I called the manager, Kevin, to express my concerns. Instead of listening, he started yelling at me, which was incredibly rude and unacceptable.
Meanwhile these names are their nick names and when you ask your real name to know who you are dealing with they lie.
Scammers .

I wanted a simple french gel manicure. They told me they couldn't do it same as the picture. That's just tells me that nobody is educated in the salon. There was also reused nail files and buffers. Thry actually wiped off the remaining white french tip. Left it just plain. I'm sure there is a rule and regulation about useing a nail file one time use per client. Simply no passion as they are nail technicians. I won't be going back.
