Came to tip the bin (has been in the same spot for 2 years, well packed, dry area and never moved). Clear access to the bin and no obstructions or mud. Got 2 calls saying they are stuck asking me for help. I am at work as they came without notice. Got home and there are 2ft deep rutts all over my driveway, bin got picked up and moved but not emptied! No answer since this happened. They also opened my front gate (8ft tall elk fence) and left it wide open when they left, now multiple deer trapped in my fence line to deal with. Very disrespectful and disappointing service. Would leave 0/5 if I could.

Every time they show up I am called away from what I am doing to deal with the new driver conveniently finds an excuse to not tip the bin. Right now I would not recommend their services the new staff is not making their business look good. Not what I would expect from a local company

I feal hosed. I needed more product and a shopped around and found it for almost half the price at another place. What really got me is they wanted $150 delivery fee which is fine, but then they wanted to talk at 9% fuel charge on top of the delivery fee that should be included in the delivery fee. Shop around you will find a better price

The sales per act like she is City of Sasktoon inspector. Asking you lots of questions selling there bin. I don’t like it at all

Got some soil delivered to my house. I asked when the soil would be here on the day we agreed for the delivery and they couldn't tell me (not a big deal in itself). On delivery day 4pm rolls around so I call to see what's going on since it's fairly late in the work day. After a callback, they say it's still coming. The guy arrives at 5 and I run out quick and say I'm just going to lay out a tarp quick. He says "You should have done that before I got here, sir". I was able to remain calm outwardly, but that comment irked me so much.The area where he was to dump the soil was super exposed and a tarp would have just blown away there if it was laid out before hand. Also just pairing that comment with the fact they couldn't tell me when the delivery was going to come, and that I had been waiting all day for them to arrive was super annoying. Soil quality seems decent, but I'd probably look to try a different company in the future due to this experience. It's probably a better situation if you're able to go there and pick up stuff yourself.*edit after reply from owner*I did say I'd like a call and received none the day of delivery (double checked my call history to be sure). They were not able to tell me morning or afternoon either when I asked what time they'd be coming. I think it's fair about the tarp safety, but it would be good to properly set expectations with customers from the start I think e.g. if what was written here was told to me on the phone I think it would've gone much smoother. Thanks for the response.

Disorganized and dysfunctional at best. They dump the wrong bin, then they dump when you don't want them to, they don't invoice you for months at a time and then they hit you with all the invoices at once, they keep your credit card on file when you repeatedly ask them not to, they have aweful contracts and they will violate their end of the agreement, you call them about issues and no one writes anything down so they repeat the issues and then act surprised when you call, when you have had all you can tolerate from them and you tell them to leave, they threaten you with liens and collections. If you don't want to be stressed out about your garbage collection DON'T call Allan's.

Buyer beware on sneaky charges. Website says $118 for delivery in Saskatoon but doesn't mention the Fuel, and Carbon Tax surcharges the tack on. 100% money grab on their part. Saskatoon Landscape Store offers delivery for a flat rate, no un-advertised surcharges.

Customer service sucked related to acreage garbage bin. Wrote 4 or 5 emails, never got a response, phoned and was told I would get a call back from someone later that day, never happened. Also be sure to read the contract as #7 of it as I understood it to mean I could cancel the bin with 90 day notice during that period in any year, not so they say this applies only after 5 years (I was shocked), so still have 2 1/2 years of rent to pay for something we don't even use. If you're only getting your bin tipped lets say every 6 months than one should not be paying road tax for the 5 months in between as they are not coming to tip your bin. The recycling bins will probably be identical to garbage contract. I would recommend going with the red bin company as I believe one can opt out of a their contract every three months.
