Took my daughter there to get pop for her birthday and the Security guard kept following us. As we were walking out she was right by the door and the donation bin and she called us an ass! I took my daughter out of there as soon as possible. We kinda laughed about it but still it was not acceptable 😕 I attached photos of her. (This no frills have been getting 1 stars lately.)

Update: Still excellent customer service of the people that work here. But dropped to 3 stars just because stock is always really low to non-existent for many sale items I go in for. I've started going to the 22nd Street Nofrills more often because of this.
Nice place but limited selection of stuff compared to the NoFrills on 22nd St.

I wanted to give 0 star but there is no option here. Customer service was so terrible here. The guy who was cashier yesterday evening Thursday 5th of September 2024,did not even greet us but he was greeting other people by showing his all teeth and was
singing welcoming song for them, infact the security guard who was a lady she was kind of making bad faces when we were coming inside. They all were rude people whom we were dealing yesterday.very very bad experience.

Self check doesn't work. Only one person is working and trying to run a till and help anyone in the self checkout.

Placement of products doesn't make a lot of sense.
Also, on checkout, the cashier could plainly see that I had limited mobility, yet audibly forced me to empty my basket rather than offer any assistance in the very least. I guess NO FRILLS includes NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Utterly shameful. 👎

It's great for cheap basic groceries. If you need anything for a sugar free/low sugar diet for example you won't really have luck here. I come here for produce mainly and it is good for that. They do have protein bread and 2 kinds of protein yogurt. They usually have good bargains on stuff near the frozen food

My concerns are related to produce boxes on flashfoods. Now I do not expect top quality produce in these boxes, however I expect to salvage a good portion of what was in the box. My last 2 boxes were extremely disappointing at least 1/2 of each box was inedible. 2 bunch of asparagus were rotten and inedible. Whole peppers rotten spots all over and much more. Produce needs to be more careful. Yes we are paying a good price. But the produce should be edible. Tried calling the store to be sent to a call center in the states who put me over to flashfoods, which I did before. But did not feel it was store issue. Yet it is the store that puts these boxes together.

Good prices but having a security guard watch you shop for groceries is unsettling. I feel like I’m in some communist country. Why can’t he watch from some cameras or something? It’s so uncomfortable.

One lane open, easy layout. 8/10 will shop again
