A man in the store threatened my mom, making a 'hitting someone over the head' gesture towards her in aisle 5. When I calmly confronted him a few minutes later at the till and asked why he threatened her, he began yelling and denying it. An employee, a larger-built Caucasian woman, then started yelling at me, claiming the man was causing no issues. However, she was not present in aisle 5 and could not have witnessed the situation. The employee proceeded to make false claims to security, seemingly echoing the man's defense.
I had to pull the security guard aside to explain what actually happened without interference. Despite this, as I was leaving, the employee continued to provide a distorted account of events. This experience was distressing and unacceptable. I suggest that Dollarama provide additional training for their staff on conflict resolution and handling such situations professionally to avoid further incidents like this.

Abhorrent staff. I asked if they still sold an item. I was told to go look in that aisle. I said I did look and wanted to know if it was still sold here or discontinued. The man dismissively waved me away as though I was inconveniencing him. Ok.
Another staff member mocked my child while he was having a meltdown. Kids have meltdowns. It sucks but let's move on. But to mock a child? What on earth?
Staff was huddled in the always crowded aisles laughing and giggling with a staff member from Shoppers Drug Mart. People should enjoy their time at work but they left one woman by herself at the till with a long line up.
Cashier did not say one word to me when I purchased my item. Not even hello. Hello is basic level customer service, especially when the customer says hello to you. It's really impolite to not respond.
I don't know what's going on at this store but the service, cleanliness and organization of this store has really gone downhill.

Was at dollarama today at 1pm and cashiers weren’t very interactive she was silent the whole time putting everyones things through , not even a hi, hello or thank u or have a great day to anyone! Just poker face….. are u guys hiring people who can’t speak English?

3rd time that I bought something that the price was wrong… bring it up to the worker that price tag is wrong and he looks at you like your speaking a foreign language.. would like to hear sorry we’ll change that…..?

This Dollarama is one of the cleanest and well put together stores i've ever seen. All the items on the shelves are always nicely placed and well stocked. I have been to other Dollarama's in Saskatoon and find the shelves are near empty or not well put together. The Manager Tracey is amazing and is so nice to the customers and employees from what I've seen. Highly Recommend!
