The staffs’ behaviour at this place was atrocious - snooty and pretentious and rude, and racist. As a woman of colour I felt judged and belittled. As I read the other reviews I see this is something that happens on a regular basis. I am a professional who enjoys quality clothing and I hope they realize they’ve lost me and my friends as customers.

I have been to this store twice now - the first time was about a year ago and I was just leisurely looking while killing some time. I don't remember the details about that time, but I remember leaving feeling judged by the associates and unwelcome in the environment. The second time, which was just today, left me feeling the exact same way.For some context, I ordered a pair of sneakers online during the boxing day sale and picked them up from the store later in the week. When I got there, I tried them on and they were too small so I asked about a larger size. The one sales associate was helpful in locating sizes but otherwise very cold. I would ask questions but the associate would act disinterested and respond with short answers. I did not feel welcome or comfortable in this environment. The other associate didn't even acknowledge my presence, even when I was standing in front of her.As for the sneakers, the first associate reluctantly exchanged the sneakers for a larger size but it is worth mentioning that this size doesn't fit either (I told her this). She told me that this was the only option because the sneakers were final sale and my size was not available anywhere else. Firstly, I was unaware that discounted items are considered final sale as this was not indicated anywhere on the website or while I was going through the checkout process online. I have since gone back to try to locate a return policy and I found the referenced clause, though it is buried in the general refund policy. Secondly, I have since checked their online store and see that my size is available.I am not sure where to go from here. I am stuck with a pair of sneakers that don't fit and I am out a sizeable chunk of money that could have gone towards a pair of shoes that actually fit. To say that I am frustrated and disappointed is an understatement. Given these two experiences and general feelings upon leaving the store, I would not shop here again. It's unfortunate because Era carries unique and beautiful pieces (hence the 2 stars and not 1) but I cannot voluntarily face that environment again when I can find beautiful and unique pieces elsewhere in Saskatoon.

The online service is excellent, the shipping was perfect and the products great. I wrote sometimes with questions and they responded quickly and with kindness. And what about the sales!!!!

I’ve never felt worse inside of a store. I walked in, and was automatically greeted coldly- I assumed it was because I’m young and wasn’t in any designer clothes and that the associate just assumed I was in the store to waste time, but as I continued shopping her attitude remained the same. I took a pair of loafers off the wall and asked if I could try them on, she grabbed them for me and I thanked her - trying to make small conversation but she wouldn’t interact with me at all. I tried them on, loved how they looked and purchased them, and thought maybe she wouldn’t be as cold to me and realize that I wasn’t in there to just look at the clothes and leave-but nothing changed. I asked if I could wait inside the store for my ride to arrive as it was cold outside, she just shrugged it off and let me stay, which I appreciated. As I was waiting in the store I ended up finding a better deal online for the same shoes I had just purchased, so I hesitantly came up to the counter and asked if I could return them. She took the shoes, put in the information and handed me the reader to get my refund silent, not a word to me. I kept apologizing as I truly did feel bad for returning them so soon, and she snapped “stop saying you’re sorry, you already said it once”. I left the store feeling so disgusting, I hope no one else has to feel the way I did.

They should update business hours on google. Says they’re open at 10 on Saturday, but the sign on the door says 12. Not from here and was planning a stop before having to leave.
