“Sutherland Beer and Wine in Saskatoon is the ultimate alcohol store in the city. You can get anything. Back in my university days, they were there to supply all my tequila needs. Nowadays, they are able to supply me with awesome kegs for my Twisted Tea parties. Alex is a great liaison and super helpful when it comes to securing me kegs, especially when it is difficult to get them due to trade restrictions. They put in a lot of effort to get me my Twisted Tea keg, and it was very much, so appreciated by all of my friends.Apparently, veterans, first responders and army people get a discount there, so if you are one of the above, I would highly recommend you to go. Speaking of recommendations, go to this place instead of anywhere else in the city. They rock and they roll.”

Jonathan has never failed to make me laugh and Charmaine really goes out of her way to help everyone and really make people feel welcome.

“23 August 2025 I went there at night around 9pm when I ready to pay, the cashier is a like Indian guy like 40 years old, I smiled and said “how are you?” to him first, but he just ignore my greeting and without any response, I’m sure my voice is not small and he must can hear it, but yes he just ignore, very interesting?but around 11pm I went back there again to buy beer there is a young Indian cashier but he was very polite?anyway, the store has many options of alcohol that’s great?”

“The whole store is very easy to navigate and the staff is genuinely nice. They greet you when you enter 100% of the time always friendly and willing to help with whatever requests or questions you have about your purchase. Wine deals are very good as well. The only place I choose to go Is Urban Cellars And will always be a loyal customer. Me and my family frequently go here for our beverage needs and can find anything we need even by request! “Fantastic. They don't have the variety of bigger stores but everything they sell is Saskatchewan made. Being all local products usually means paying premium prices but not at Silvers. Inexpensive and quality products; who could ask for anything more?”
“Sobeys liquor university is a good store with ample variety of liquor, wine and beer as well. One can find local and international products here on discounted price if applicable. Snacks are also available here. This place is close to Safeway grocery store and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown. Huge parking lot is available with zero cost but public washroom facility is not available.”

“I've gone to the Wine Kitz store on Ave B for years to exchange Bubbler cannisters. Recently I decided to make my own port and they helped me gather all the necessary supplies.I find myself attracted to "hole-in-the-wall" places like this, but I suspect I'm overusing the term. Basically they're in the "small business owner" category, a small shop in an unassuming row of stores run by the same few people.They're friendly and helpful and they have competitive prices.What you see is what you get and that's not something you get everywhere. I know it sounds kind of ethereal, but there is a glow of positivity that seems to float around the place.Good, honest, helpful. Highly recommend.”
