It seems like every time I go there as a contractor they do not have the materials I need to do the job so I end up shopping elsewhere

Went into the store to look for anti-slip rubber mats for my parent’s front steps. We were wandering and searching for them, when I heard someone speak out; since we were walking away and no one was near by, we didn’t assume that person was speaking to us. However, it was an employee who was half an aisle away and asked again if we needed help.
The gentleman not only stopped what he was doing, he walked us to the exact location where the mats were located and helped even further by showing us the various sizes.
I went to another Rona in the city, and two Home Depots, and did not have a single employee interact or acknowledge us.
This employee was awesome and helpful! A rarity these days! It makes us want to drive across the city for good service!

We recently purchased a home cooking stove from Rona, and had an excellent experience! The sales person Saharuk was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He explained all the features clearly and helped us choose the right model for our home. The whole process—from selection to delivery—was smooth and professional.
Highly recommend visiting Rona if you’re looking for great appliances and outstanding customer service. Thank you, Saharuk, for your excellent support!

Great location, friendly staff. Not easy to find things and staff could be more help as can’t really find anyone in week evenings when not a lot of people are working.

Clean store and easy to find stuff. Staff are ok at the front. Just wish back staff can be more helpful when you need help. Some times can’t find anyone for help.

Amazing experience with buying a fridge at RONA today. Mohammad, department manager, was knowledgeable and friendly, took the time to explain our options and supported us through our purchase. I will be back for any major purchases in the future.

This review is for the kids workshops. I am so disappointed that we now have to register to attend. My kids and I would always look forward to just showing up to do the monthly workshops. The fact that we now have to register and it can't be a spur of the moment thing anymore makes it likely that we will be missing a majority of these workshops as we don't know what our weekend's entail until later in the week. We did not register on time this month and now, unfortunately, we were not able to participate in this month's craft.
I loved Roma's system as it was easy going, now it is no better than home depots, hard to get into and limiting my young builders from participating.
EDIT: Marla was very accommodating and was able to find us some extra projects for my kids to.participate with. THANK YOU MARLA

Do not recommend. Store rarely has the products that are listed on their website with inventory. Save your time and go to Home Depot instead.

This store always has what I need, and a great convenient location for Kensington. The lady at the contractor cash out was extremely helpful the other day in assisting me finding the exact piece of lumber I needed. Nice quiet shopping environment.

OMG. We spent over an hour waiting for them to find a bathtub in their warehouse. They couldn't find the tub surround that their inventory said they had 2 of. I asked for assistance to get it onto my truck and while they argued who was busier I just did it myself. The staff training, store layout, inventory management is abysmal. Management should be ashamed. Worst hardware store experience ever.

Going into Rona+ is not like going to your average Home Development store. It is super clean, well lite and overall esteticly awesome. The only downside (which is a big one) is the lack of employees. This is noticed during evening (5-7 pm) visits. A time when general consumers (not business consumers) shop. The paint and hardware sections you cAn wait over 15 minutes before finding assistance (knowledgeable help). Just be forewarned. At least the ambiance is there! 😉
