Here's what they have listed as a description for their 30 minute appointment:
"Achieve a personalized look with minimal product for maximum impact. Build on your existing makeup or enhance a key feature with step-by-step guidance.
$45 service fee with 20% off products purchased during the service."
That was exactly what I wanted. "Minimal product." I'm not much of a makeup person and I definitely do not want a full face. "Build on your existing makeup" is just what I wanted.
Problem is that when I booked the appointment online, I mentioned that I'm going for headshots after. Because of that, the person confirming my appointment by phone refused to confirm anything less than a 60 minute appointment.
If I hadn't mentioned pictures, no doubt I would have gotten exactly what I was after. Instead I wound up with an unwelcome upsell attempt, and a cancelled appointment.

This is hands down the best MAC location I’ve ever been to (both nationally and internationally). The entire team is incredibly helpful and truly go out of their way to help in any way they can. They take the time to make sure you’re getting the product that you want and that’s right for you and they even help with application tips! Tia, the manager helped me out today and it was the best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. I’m kicking myself for not noting names in the past but sincerely, everyone there is so wonderful.

Tanisha helped me choose foundation, bronzer and a few other items. She made my shopping experience very pleasant. She was professional and friendly. I don’t like shopping but shopping with Tanisha was actually fun. Now I am stocked up for a while, thank you!

I had a wonderful experience buying lipstick at this Saskatoon Downtown location. I was having a hard time finding a shade that fits me. Hazel was really helpful and patients looking for the perfect shade that match my skintone, she gave me different options and had me tried different sanitized clean lipsticks. I definitely buy again here, Their lipsticks quality is consistent and long lasting and I love Hazel, her customer service is second to none!

I was at this store today to check the new radiant serum tint and I’m so impressed by the knowledge Hazel has about makeup and products. She was so polite and sweet. I felt so welcomed. So decided to give her a shout she is the best person I have met in Saskatoon.

I love Mac but the customer service was not there, I was standing there for about 20 minutes before I said heck no to that, workers didn’t even acknowledge me, I was there to get the viral lip glosses on Tik tok I saw there were some people ahead and I waited but after 10 minutes I was wandering what was taking so long the girls had paid already and I had noticed they were talking about a party and wasn’t make up or job related I didn’t mind but after 15 minutes it was kinda annoying and the other lady didn’t even bother helping me I asked if she could help me get a colour since they were in the cabinet but to no answer, there should be new policies to seeing friends it’s nice to see them but if it impacts the work you should make plans not to waste customers times.
