A typical Michaels.Recently they upgraded their check out to be self check out kiosks which were a bit different however was able to make it work. Still needed assistance for some items that have security tags.Recommend visiting their site to get access to their coupons. Prices are markedly higher than say local art stores but it does the trick in a pinch.

Very disappointed with the coupon offer, u never know if it will work on a regular price product and no staff to be found to ask.

I'm definitely not happy with the checkout system. I'm so glad walmart has a good supply of yarn as well as Prarie lily. I'll go to his beads for my beads from now on.

PRICES ARE IN USD DONT GET FOOLED. This was truly ridiculous: Bought a display item with damage and was t offered a discount after pointing it out. Also, if you want the town to turn on, you have to buy their proprietary 50$ plug in to go with it ? mErRy cHrIsTmAs!! ??

Recently went shopping for picture frames and yarn. While attempting to pay for my items they have a very poor self checkout system and only 1 cashier. While i'm putting in all of my personal information just so I can pay for my items, there's an old man who I can only assume is the manager yelling at his employees through a walkie talkie instead of dealing with the problem himself. Very poor experience and this place where I used to go often will no longer be getting my business.

Only looked at the yarn section.They have a lot of their own branded stuff (loops and threads) and it seems like there’s some mixing of it with the lily’s sugar and cream cotton yarn and maybe even the 1lb Caron yarn. They do have some Bernat and Caron stuff as well, but you need to look closely to see what is actually those brands and what is actually the L&T brand. (I don’t prefer the L&T branded stuff, personally).

This place used to be my favorite go to for anything craft. As of late, I recently went in to find ALL of their check out area is now SELF SERVE! What??!!!So disappointed. I cannot imagine once the Christmas decor rolls in and people have carts full of items that THIS is gonna work better??Michael's what have you done??Not impressed.

Store is forcing the use self-checkout. When, after repeating myself several times that I would not use it, I was told there would be no and has not been any job loss. Then two customers, who came after me, were taken care of before me because they were using the self-checkout. I was served after they were done. I enjoyed going to Michael's, supporting a local/brick & mortar store, but after this experience, I am rethinking my choice.

They have many options for craft supplies and much more but they are a bit pricey and the service my last time shopping there stunk. They only had self checkout unless you use cash which is kinda annoying but the self checkout didn’t work 3 times in a row on the fourth time it did work but the only assistance I got was from a employee in a mood saying try again it doesn’t work every time, to scan a item then the option to enter my coupon would appear, and it’s a learning curve for everyone. So much for customer service. More like customers serve

Well organized with plenty of supplies. The staff are quite helpful. A little pricey for some items, but they are always well stocked.

It's too bad that another retailer thinks that self checkouts are the way to provide quality customer service. I guess Amazon will be my preferred shopping going forward although I still prefer a store with a door that pays local taxes and employs people in my community.

I have only had one picture matted and framed and the person who helped me pick out the mat and frame knew her stuff and the completed job was amazing. This was a few years ago.This month (August, 2023) I bought two pictures from Wayfair and the 4’ X 3’ didn’t have hooks or a wire to allow for hanging it.. Jenna in the framing department was so accommodating and did a great job adding the wire and provided hooks too. And the cost was very reasonable. Best service ever at this store. Thanks again!

nice store but staff seem depressed, no one willing to greet us or ask if we needed help as 5 staff had passed us while we were in store.
