Petra bakery food was recommended by my uber driver.
I ordered akawi cheese pizza and chicken shawarma pie. To die for! The best o ever had in my lifetime! You will not find rich flavourful food in entire North America! And I ain’t kidding.
People who work there are so nice and polite. They are great to talk to and they explain in detail if you don’t know what you want to order. Great customer service.
They also sell fresh dough!

Amazing spot in Saskatoon. My family and I went there for the first time yesterday. We were just passing by the city and was looking for some good quality food and get some groceries at the same time. We passed by Petra and were shocked with the amazing service , great food and great prices. We got some manakesh and instantly you taste the good quality ingredients. They don’t skip out. The dough was nice and thin. Soft and crunchy at the same time. Took me back to manakesh in Palestine or Jordan. Forgot to mention their house made bread is amazing. Very versatile and could be used in many ways. Highly highly recommend stopping there. Thanks for the great service. Truly a Jem in Saskatoon.

We came in for the first time today and we were exceptionally impressed. Incredible food and grocery and service. We are already excited to go back again. Everyone in Saskatoon should know about and support this wonderful little gem.

Petra Market & Bakery is a fantastic Middle Eastern bakery and grocery store right in the neighborhood. Their wood-fired pizza, pita, and fresh pastries are always made to order and full of flavor. The store also has a great selection of spices, olives, and specialty items you won’t find easily elsewhere. The staff are friendly and helpful, making every visit a pleasant experience. A true hidden gem—highly recommended!

Incredible Middle Eastern bakery and specialty store that we are fortunate to have right in our neighbourhood. Their wood-fired pizza and pitas/special breads are amazing and freshly baked and made to order. A hidden gem with great service and wonderful, friendly atmosphere.
